    You shoul clear up your post, as you made a big mistake. You showed this as croched, I ignored it as I don’t crochet, & wished I could. I went back to it again, has a good & soon discovered it was knitted'. I was so very happy & posted it to my Sister & a few friends. I did knit one years ago to. Wear in my air conditioned office, but ended up giving it to FRIEND whos office was colder than mine. Never ever made another. ❤Thank you so very much, it’s appreciated so very much. ❤️🇨🇦🍷

    Hi, your voice is very soothing. Great tutorial. As previously mentioned, how can I work this pattern in the round so that I don't have a seam? I'm aware that if it is worked in the round the direction of the pattern will be horizontal but it's the purl side that I'm having difficulty converting. Any advice will be very helpful. I really like this pattern. Many thanks.

    Hi! I am new to knitting and wondering, isn't there a way to knit on round needles that creates the seam as you go? btw, this is just beautiful and can't wait to try it!

    A beautiful pattern but do you have one for knitting in the round? I get that the WS purl sts are converted to knits, but for the lace round, do you get rid of the edge sts? If so, how many exactly? Do you still cast on 79? Thanks!

    Such a beautiful cowl! Thank you so much for this pattern. It is suitable for an advanced beginner knitter and your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I think it would look great with solid or multi-colored yarns. I’d like to know the multiples to cast on in case I’d like to use a smaller yarn like DK or fingering weight. I’ll try to figure it out from the pattern. Many thanks again and blessings to you. 💗🙏🏻🧶

    Is the pattern a multiple of 11+2?

    • @Bookstar125
      @Bookstar125 3 года назад +1

      Lila Kyriakides: having trouble with this pattern like me?
      The only way I can get this pattern to work is by using a multiple of 11, plus ten. The closest to this posted pattern of casting on 79 stitches I could get was to cast on 76 stitches. The 11 stitch repeat uses three YO K 1 and one Yo K2tog, and three K 2tog.... for a total of 11 stitches used. Then on EACH end there are five stitches comprised of K1 and two K 2 tog.
      Therefore 5+ (6 x 11) + 5 =76.
      Try it and see if it works for you. I finished mine in six 11- st multiples plus five on each side for a total of 76, and it is very pretty. I hope you finish yours as well.
      In your future projects remember that if you just can't get a pattern to work, sometimes the pattern is in error. Doesn't happen often, but it DOES happen on occasion. Happy knitting!

    • @Bookstar125
      @Bookstar125 3 года назад

      Well, Lila, this is my apology to you! I finished the cowl, and it turned out pretty, but it had a design flaw at the very end of the pattern row! It looked fine, nobody else would have noticed, but I knew it was there....so I ravelled it all out, and started over. Just follow the pattern as given by BHooked, and go for it.
      I'm hoping I am posting this comment fast enough...9 hours later....that it doesn't cause you any inconvenience.
      Again, happy knitting.

    Test Cannnel Yes you can knit this in the round. Only thing you’ll change is your purl rows. You’ll KNIT. ALL the purl rows. If you purl you’ll change the pattern.
