1 less torque for the win lol .... yet with the shift cam technology on the M1KR obliterates the S1KR at low end because of the better power delivery. It has always been the Achille's heel of the S1KR.
I saw the M1000RR TODAY…. It’s £36 bloody grand 😂😂!! I reckon you should get it 😂!! It’s absolutely beautiful but I’d still take your bike and save myself £10’000 👍🏾
@@Mancs1000r yeah definitely mate, you’d have to store it with 24 hr security, funny thing is you can’t demo it, I said to the dealer “ how can you ask someone for 36 grand for a bike they’ve never ridden “? It’s ridiculous! I’d still have it though hahaha 🤣!! It’s basically just ALL carbon with an engine stuffed inside it! 👍🏾😂

I was surprised how diddy the M1000R is it’s proper dinky but it fits me perfectly, flat footed no problem, I was gonna get the Zh2 but the BMWs are just better quality all round, the fit n finish and attention to detail is so good 😊 defo my next bike! Apparently it’s got flat spots and the bars are a bit viby but I’m not bothered tbh it’s not a dealbreaker 👍🏾

I went to see this bike today ( not the M) and it’s so comfortable I absolutely love it £15999 ex demo and the M is £25000 brand new 😢! I know it’s 10 k more but in the flesh with all the carbon it just look amazing 🤩 I’ve also tried the Zh2 Kawasaki and the BMW beats it in all areas, no supercharger but it doesn’t need one imo , the BMW power delivery is smooth not sudden , that’s how you want it plus you get all the extras as standard, CC heated grips electronic suspension modes etc , you can’t ask for more 👍🏾
That’s why I think the s1000r is the best road bike for the money.. it’s comfy, it has all the tech, heated grips, sat nav, cruise control, loads more. The M1000r is a proper nice bike with all the carbon and bilet leavers but we don’t think it’s worth an extra 10k more than the standard one 😊
Just found ya channel, great content, fookin awesome bike's, and cracking roads down where you two live....noticed baz's s1000rr is for sale at ocean motorrad in Plymouth is it worth the trip down to view it ? I'm from Cambridge you see...did he only trade it in for the M1000r , look forward to more video lad's tell baz to get rid of them chicken strips...look's embarrassing on a bike like that...lol
The wider the rear tyre. The more lean angle is needed and force on the bars to create that lean. The wider the tyre, the slower the bike would lean / turn. More force is needed, hence the slightly longer bars, more force is also needed due to the wings. But not at the low speeds in this video. It's also a heavier tyre as it's bigger. Also slowing the lean angle. If they have been riding on a 180, and then that's 200. It's a totally different shape of tyre also. Same ratio of 55% I guess. It would turn faster if he was more forceful with countersteering. Lots of pros and cons of large tyres. All Moto GP bikes only use 180 tyres for that reason.
@OZ BIKER S1000R is a better road bike then the MR. In my opinion. MR is a beautiful bike, but its 10 thousand pound more. Do you really need more than 165bhp for the road. Never in my time riding have I thought my S1000R is under powered. It has everything the MR has. Other than the engine. But congratulations on ordering one. I'm sure you will love it.
@@Baz1000r good point I will take the 1000r for a ride I have a few bikes The 2022 RSV4 factory I have is unreal and it turns in so easy an its got a 200 rear different bikes but the 2022 H2 thats the same 200 rear and its not to bad but it 234kg but its pushing 248 at the rear mad beast Love it great videos with the comment on the volume not sure if you are using DaVinci resolve if you are Normalise Audio levels anywhere from -3 to -1 and it should help it to be clearer but make all clips the same other wise it will be loud then softer etc
@@Mancs1000r I’ve seen a review where they said it wobbles at speeds and the steering damper is useless but tbh I don’t believe that mate, bmw aren’t gonna make a sports bike that can’t be ridden at speed, sounds like bs to me but he does actually show it on the video but he’s doing like 150 mph !!! 🤣
@paulcartwright7228 that might be true but he will have the steering damper set to the minimum setting… if you know you will be doing track speeds you would set it to a stronger setting
@@Mancs1000r aha yeah I thought so , some of the RUclips reviews testing the bike at its absolute maximum I know it CAN do 150 mph but seriously who does that here apart from the TT and I don’t need a TT bike ! 😂 have you 2 tried the Zh2 yet Kawasaki? I can’t decide which ones the better choice! The Bmw build quality is better but it’s £19000! The Zh2 is £16000 ( only thing missing is heated grips) from the Zh2 , both great bikes eh 👍🏾
