    Going to get the one during the monthend. Is it worth spending extra for the Hexa, Aria, Joyodio shine or any other iem? Primary purpose: Orchestral music and watching films.
    And hopefully this one works fine with my Poco F5 without DAC.

    • @headphone_zone
      @headphone_zone  Год назад +5

      Hey there, both the Truthear - Zero: RED and the Truthear - Hexa are fantastic choices for your needs. The Zero: RED provides a balanced sound profile that works well for a wide range of music and movie genres. On the other hand, the Hexa offers a step up in audio quality and provides an immersive experience, making it ideal for orchestral music and movie watching. Both IEMs perform excellently without the need for an additional DAC, although we recommend using a DAC for an immersive listening experience. The choice will ultimately come down to your budget and desired listening experience - both options are top contenders in their respective price segments! Keep the music playing 🎶🎬

      I haven't used any of them myself but from the various reviews I've watched I would definitely invest some extra and go for Hexa, its more expensive but it'll be better and these things last a long time so it'll be worth it.

    Sir today i got this IEM, But before this i used KZ ZXN PRO X. When i connect USB DAC to KZ sounds better than truthear because USING DAC in KZ at 40% volume is same as *WITHOUT* DAC at 100% volume. But when i use truthear without DAC, It sounds less than KZ and same with USING DAC KZ Has great power.
    Like....
    Without DAC - KZ - *100%* VOLUME IS EQUAL TO With DAC - KZ - *40%* VOLUME.

      Hey there, the absence of a microphone in certain earphones might be due to design priorities. Some earphones are specifically focused on delivering high-quality audio performance while keeping the design compact and lightweight. Including a microphone could potentially add complexity to the internal structure and affect sound quality. However, there are also many earphone models available that come with built-in microphones, catering to those who need hands-free communication during calls. It's all about finding the right balance between audio performance and additional features like a microphone based on your preferences and needs.

      The Truthear - ZERO: Red indeed delivers a well-balanced sound signature, making it versatile across various music genres. While it may not be overly bass-heavy, it provides a tight and controlled bass response that complements classic rock and U2-style music beautifully. The overall audio performance is nuanced and engaging, ensuring an enjoyable listening experience across different musical landscapes. 🎸🎶

    • @headphone_zone
      @headphone_zone  8 месяцев назад +1

      The iFi Audio - GO Link has a function in which if the volume if increased beyond a certain percentage, it starts pausing and playing intermittently. To resolve the issue, we recommend lowering the volume. Also, the 10 ohm resistor has nothing to do with this issue.

      Sure, if you're a bass head looking for excellent IEMs, you can consider the Final - E3000 under 3K, which provides a balanced sound with a satisfying bass punch without overwhelming other frequencies. If you have a budget of 5K, you might want to check out the Simgot - EW200, which offers a slightly more pronounced bass response while maintaining overall sound quality. These options should cater to your bass preferences without compromising audio clarity. Keep the music playing! 🎧🎶😄

    Unfortunately, there is a sad trend among audiophiles now that they tend to agree to everything that Crinnacle spits. They are making his likes and dislikes as the benchmark, and dare I say as their gospel.

    • @suhaib1249
      @suhaib1249 Год назад +3

      I don’t agree with his rankings or preferences 90% of times but credit where it’s due, this is one of the best tuned IEM under $ 1-1.5k. Sure, resolution leave a lot to be desired but you dont’t expect resolution and technicalities beyond a reasonable point at this price.
      I am not an IEM person and mostly use a mest 2 custom but have enough experience with TOTL headphones whether planar or DD to know a thing or two about tuning. I would say give this one a try if you can and let your ears be the judge.

      Hey there, the audiophile world can be quite a lively place! While Crinacle's insights are valued by many, it's important to remember that everyone's ears and preferences are unique. It's like having a favourite flavour of ice cream - some might love vanilla, others prefer chocolate, and some even opt for the wilder choices. So, let's enjoy the rich tapestry of opinions and find what resonates with our musical souls! 🎶🎧

      @@headphone_zone yes, couldn’t agree more. Was at London CanJam with friends last weekend and within my circle of friends there were such diverse views which was fun. Just as an example, I love ZMF and own many of their HPs including their new planar and then I have a friend who absolutely hate them, find Zach’a creation too coloured. He likes Susvara with some esoteric DACs and speaker amps and I don’t like Susvara at all, have tried it with DACs and Amps cost of a mortgage but they just doesn’t resonate with me.
      My point about Red is that it brings a tuning which was unheard of at this price few years ago. We live in a wonderful time where this is all so accessible, you had to spend $1k + for this tuning just few years ago.

      Hey there, it's great that you're enjoying the Moondrop Chu II! Both the Moondrop Chu II and the Truthear Zero: RED are excellent IEMs, but they do have their own unique characteristics and sound signatures. While the Chu II might excel in certain aspects, the Zero: RED offers its own set of pros that some listeners may prefer. Comparing these two models is like comparing apples to oranges, as they cater to different preferences. Ah, the magical power of tuning! Crinacle's preferences might lean towards lighter bass signatures, creating a world where "less is more."
