Thank you for sharing this. After decades of cake decorating and traditional “twist and hold” bow making my hands just can’t do it anymore. This is a perfect way I can still make beautiful bows. And the resources below are a great bonus!
I am very bow disabled. I have watched your bow making, but it was usually to fast and I couldn’t get the hand of it. With this video, I understand and now I can make an Olivia bow. Olivia, thank you so very much and being a great teacher. Thank you for sharing and explaining to me. I probably won’t be doing much crafting for many weeks as I am having shoulder replacement surgery. It was caused by many years of teaching many many behavioral disabled students in Texas. Keep me in your prayers the 11 as I have surgery.
Sister I'm 58 and I've had a easy bow maker since I was about 16 and I prefer your method for this Olympia bow they're beautiful you skipping the different sizes so you're getting the depth and fullness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this because it's made my life easier. The problem I have with the EZ bow maker to have to twist it into your other loop twist it and they don't stay nice and twisted when you put them in a little notch. You know I love you dearly and consider you family since mine's all gone. You just the sweetest Soul I've had the pleasure to experience in my life. Your polka dot and strip double bow you made is amazingly beautiful! I used that glittery ribbon in silver. You are not kidding, I had glitter every where! The poor telephone repairman was at my house that day and when he left the poor guy had silver sprinkles on his face ... I had been making the bow on my counter and that is where he was working on our phone box! I hated to tell him...so I left he take a little Christmas sparkle home with him!
