Hunred sixteen thousand kilometers or just sixteen? For an old car sixteen is very little. And cars from that year reset after hundred thousand kilometers
The acceleration and elasticity (0-100km/h ... 0-120km/h, 80-120km/h etc.) of the Beetle is very close to the Ford Fiesta MK1 XR2 84hp. The curb weight of the Beetle and Fiesta MK1 XR2 is practically the same (780 kilos vs 800 kilos). The main difference is in the gearing and drag coefficient (0.48 drag for the Beetle vs 0.43 drag for the Fiesta MK1 XR2) which results in higher top speed of the Fiesta MK1 XR2. So, the Beetle should be something like 80...82hp.
Your beetle accelerates like a golf gti😮
it basically is

For a low compression 1600 it looks like it pulls really well.
Jimmy crickets man, that's Awesome!
Not a reliable oil pressure gage i assume, considering the revs needed for such rolling acceleration.
Fantastic...
Thanks!
What is a transmission?
did you change the gear ratios or doesit just rev really high?
