I don't always like Duterte, but the fact that he gave time and respect to the Aquino family, I salute him. What he said was correct, there's always a time for everything. My respect for Mr. Duterte rose high as I am watching this. I got teary-eyed with his heartfelt message.

A gentleman and honorable for the President to give his best at this time and paying due respect to his predecessor.....he may not be perfect but he did his best for his countrymen.

I hate to correct opponent but opponent means you compete for a title, Duterte and Aquino did not. Aquino was the predecessor of Duterte meaning he was the president before him. There were no competition just presidents with different time frame.
