Nicely done! Really liked that use of Epharus as a sorta distorted guitar sustain screamy texture thing. Volitions as a bass was a cool idea too, might have to steal that for an orchestral thing I'm working on!
I have applied the Venus Theory Decent Sampler instruments to so many of my projects...they are surprisingly practical. That said, Cameron was the first person to reach out to me with a link, after showcasing Malevolence on the channel. He has done a lot more since then, and the collaborations with Dave Hilowitz are excellent! Horror Box, Apparition Engine, and Interlaced are also my favorites. Great work!
He's also designed a lot of presets across multiple soft synths like BA-1, CUBE, amongst many others. For instance, the song I made called "Dusk" (as キラヨシ) used one of the sounds he made for Pigments.
I actually quite like a plugin he created called Noctua, can create some crazy distorted and mangled sounds with it despite the simplicity. I once got in an argument with the dude on VPS Avenger vs. Phaseplant, but talented guy all around.
@@AlexReidStudios For Noctua make bunch of presets and place them in the instrument selector and have fun. Was civilized and good points from his side.
@@eklipseRomania Agreed, although they are very high quality presets. Many contain one shots, loops, multisamples, wavetables, granular samples etc., so it's not just another Serum expansion. Mostly create my own presets which it excels at.
So, you took on the Moustache Man... and succeeded superbly. Your track is delightfully cyberpunk, moody and full of dark, powerful energy - exactly what essence of Venus Theory instruments are in my humble opinion. They have an ability to tap into the Unknown Regions of Sound that make one want to experiment and push the limits out of the confining realm of 'Normal'. Your track already sounds fantastic and I'm going to very much enjoy listening to the final results when it is released... no... UNLEASHED upon the unsuspected. 🤘🐰
Heey thanks a lot for these words :). I agree, the instruments were perfect for the kind of sound I wanted to achieve on this song. It's going to be unleashed soon!
@@AlexReidStudios i think its all the free ones unless one has come out and i didnt realize it within the last few months and then i bought ghost piano when it first came out.
i still wanna know what games venus theory has worked on , cuz i want to play them. why does he keep this secret from us.. every game composer has that info on their websites.
Bunch of apps with names I can't remember offhand and some indie titles but two 'bigger' ones that are out now on steam are Ground Branch and Mini Airways! More coming soon but release dates TBD - assume they'll be out within the next ~2 years.
Aww yeah. Really like what I’ve heard of the new song! Cool to see you and Venus Theory cross paths, he’s another one of my favorite RUclipsrs. You’re having a really nice year here on the RUclipss, keep it up!

Thank you! Was a "what if" moment with Epharus and Amplitube. And thank you for the instruments. Go ahead, glad you liked the result :)

Those are some of my favs too, love the weird and spooky kind of sounds

I think I've tested some of his presets in Vital, Pigments and Atoms, nice stuff

Like a civilized argument or heated? Haven't tested Noctua yet, definetly will

I've used VPS Avenger 2 since launch and it would definitely be my desert island synth, BUT the prices of its expansions are obscene...

Im with u on adding the acoustic drums to almost every song in every genre lol 😅.
It practically always makes a improvement lol. 👍
They just sound so powerful and full
