Piano and strings with FL studio. (noire piano and samplemodeling violin)
Sorry for the blank in the video. It seems that my CPU can't handle recording while running this project ;-; It still confuses me because I have recorded a more complex one before and it went fine.
I think I'm going to have nightmares about automation. It was probably simpler than yandere, but took me a lot more time. Fortunately, it turned out pretty well and I think I made some progress on this :D
As the lullaby plays, you sat down silently on the quiet battlefield as your army triumphed. You stared at the vast blue sky as emotions starts to swell up. It's been so long since you've felt them, but yet it felt so refreshing. You took a peak at your own reflection on the puddle of water, as tears start to form on your very eyes.
Intently, you listened to the singing tune of the lullaby as the ambiences and noises became part of the melody. Without a word, you asked yourself;
"How long has it been?"

It's kind of the bare minimum if you want passable realistic strings. You have to adjust dynamics, expression, vibrato like a string player would, not just play the note like a synth.
You lay down and look at the sky, after just winning a battle. You start to yell out happy cheers at the enemies defeat. But then, you look across the battlefield. You see all the dead and injured soldiers. Your friends and comrades are now memories. You think of your family back home, and how happy they will be to see you, but how sad they will be to hear of your fellow soldiers. Then, you look down at your stomach, and you realize why you were laying down in the first place. You were trying to slow down the bloodflow, but soon, you too will be a memory.

After tried many free vst then paid for some, I found that the quality of digital string vst itself accounts for 80% of the good sound, and it has little to do with technology ;-;

What plugin do you use for violin , and what parameters are being automated ?
Samplemodeling solo violin. And the parameters are velocity, volume and vibration rate :D

First I think the quality of vst matters a lot, especially strings ;-;
About smooth, I think it depends on the velocity of each note. You can control it in the piano roll!

btw LABS has many good free vst, the cellos I use here is come from there.
