Bro you've inspired me, and probdon't even realize. I've had my a6700 for over 2 months now and have been looking to take my look to the next level. I ordered my Nightwalkers and hopefully I'll have em in hand by next week. I've only had my Tamron 17-70 and while I love it dearly, I yearn to recreate "LITERALLY" the look you present in these same video tests. Also quick question, are the conversion and creative Luts you use from Matti Haapoja? The $55 Pack? Judging off of your final exports I'd say they're worth it but I wanted to be sure I'm purchasing from the correct spot.
Thanx. Yes, the Nightwalker makes all the difference. It's much softer than Sigma/Tamron and definitely looks more cinematic. You can order the luts from Matti website directly. They are amazing luts, but you have to tweak the slog-3 settings a little. It is explained in the lut pack.
@@Cinemoods-qx9gv Thanks for the reply my g! I also kinda wanted to know, (not sure I'm asking the right question) are they sharp? I wanna kinda stray away from the "soft" look but does that help add character/more cinematic? I've done a bit of homework on the lenses but I'm still curious.
Which shutter mode do you use for the Sony Alpha 6700 or do you use an gimbal?
When filming 50fps the shutter is 1/100, when filming 25fps the shutter is 1/50. I don't use any gimbal, all is handheld with in-camera and post stabilization.
