This time I didn't have much choice, but to use three microphones instead of seven. So I decided to try out Glyn Johns technique and I messed up a lot. For this, I borrowed two condenser mics (AKG Perception P170) and a kick drum mic (Shure Beta 52).
Recorded and mixed in Reason 9.

Pretty damn good cover. My only issue is that it isn't played nearly LOUD enough. Dave fucking wails on his steel kit and I love it.
Thanks for the feedback! Well, yeah, I had some issues with the peaking levels while mixing, so I chose the comforting settings for the purpose of enjoyable listening. Anyway, Dave is a beast on the drums and I could only wish to be as good as he is :) Cheers!
