I don’t think I’ve seen anyone look happier on stage than Cummings. His smile does not go away. I was cracking up watching this. Especially the first part on the piano 😂 These guys are great.
My wife and I saw Burton in Columbus OH in the early 80's. Goose bumps the whole show every song was amazing. He was so humble and appreciative of the audience. When he said you're making an old man feel really proud it was a standing ovation. Burton is an icon in music history!!

@@biggusdickus5807 I had this cassette of BTO "Not Fragile" album/cassette. Great group and Randy was a great singer from the Guess Who, 2 great groups.
It took me 30+ years to put Guess Who and BTO together. Pushing 63 years old I finally see how the world comes full circle. This is the GREAT music that will always be the true start of REAL music, no computers no tracking, just real music talent. Thanks!
Guess Who was great. 1974, I had a Randy Bachmann's BTO cassette with me, from Camp LeJeune NC to Okinawa Camp Foster.....US Marine Corps. Wore the cassette out. Loved both Guess Who and BTO.
Wow Rich, same age as me, 63, I was in junior high school but in the other side of the world, Chile. We had a rock band and BTO was among the bands we cover here. This song was one we used to play, it was simple as many others, drums, bass guitar and two electric guitars and we made great music!!
Burt cummings is one of the greatest rock n roll singers and together with randy was one of the greatest band in our era they play good together who would have thought they would broke up and bto would

He played more rhythm guitar onstage, back when the only other guitar in the Guess Who was Bachman (I do think Randy laid down most or all of the guitars on the records) . When Bachman was replaced by Kurt Winter and Greg Leskiw, Cummings generally only played guitar on their typical closing song, "No Time".

Burton is one the best keyboard players I've ever heard, along with one of the best guitarist's in the world, what a class act with a long line of great rock & roll hits.... They should have been in the Rock & Roll HOF way before NWA or Dr Dre & their rap shit...
Totally agree... Plus I heard Robbie Robertson and Paul Shaffer are part of the '20 odd people that are on voting panel are in getting people elected into the Hall of Fame. not really a point that I'm trying to make with that just curious that they would be voting in these other fellows that you speak of yet they are fellow Canadians who I would think would be well aware of The Guess who ..as well as Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings as solo artists deserving to be in the Rock n roll Hall of fame
@@richeneflowease3622 I'm a fan of The Guess Who, BTO, either in solo careers or in bands, those guys should have been in the R&RHOF decades ago. Never heard that about Robbie Robertson. Shaffer I figured had something to do with it. He's always in backups with a lot of the bands & solo artists. I stopped watching it every year after Steve Miller made the remarks after the ceremonies & then seeing Tom Hanks name all over the place, I just said the hell with it. I've complained on a few podcasts that the R&RHOF put on RUclips. And I wouldn't be surprised if they deleted my comments. I was voicing my opinion about who gets in & who doesn't. I mean it's not fair that Neil Young got in like 3 times but The Guess Who still haven't. It's certainly not fair for the Canadian Bands. One thing though, their thick skinned and don't whine about it. Probably because of the Canadian R&RHOF....
Burton Cummings plays Saxophone too. Has the same fingering as a Flute that's why he was able to play the flute in "She's Come Undone" effortlessly 😇💙 Mwa! Canada's FAVORITE son!💋🍁🇨🇦

For 1 second, see this video thumbnail out of the corner of my eye, it looked like Benny Hill! 😁 I like seeing Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings together.
Hey Rich Elliott I figured out the thing between the two of those about 15 years ago remember Randy Bachman's name so I went did some research found out that Randy Bachman was Bachman-Turner Overdrive and figured out that they were together and were to guess who what I can't believe is they haven't put them boys in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with all all the platinums goals as singles children in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a long time ago
It's kind of interesting to think this could have been a Guess Who song had Randy stayed with the band in the 70's - although Randy probably would not have been the singer. I think the Guess Who would have been even bigger than they ever got (especially in the States) when you factor in some of the songs Bachman wrote with BTO that the Guess Who could have done.
Do we actually have a problem? These guys are NOT in the RR HOF? Ya gotta be kidding! We need some kind of demonstration in Cleveland!!!!! Oh -- wait -- it means we have to GO there! Never mind … politics!
i believe randy's younger brother had a stutter as a child and the stuttering parts are a bit of tribute to him.....after the song was released he lost his stutter!
Yeah I just love how Burton changed up the story years after his original intention... Back when he recorded it they were not on speaking terms as I recall it. I mean come on, anyone who heard this track has Burton recorded it years ago knows damn well It was the most beautiful snarky commentary on vapid lyrics and that's what it was all about. ... Of course, once they reunited and began performing again, This had to be reconciled and so this alternate rationale had to be constructed. My understanding is that back when it was originally released, Burton's version, Randy did not take to it well at all... And why would he. It was not intended to be complimentary. ... But okay, for commercial and other camaraderie reasons when they reunited they've worked it into their show, and just like any tall tale or lie you repeat often enough, you can get people to believe that there was never any ill intent behind Burton's brilliant satire on Randy's amazing lyrics. Come on people let's not be naive! But more power to Randy for his good sense of humor.
nah... I remember interviews at the time, and BC's cover helped bring about their reconciliation, in fact. Randy then played quite a bit on Burton's next couple albums. Randy, Mr. Looking Out for #1, would have been totally thrilled at collecting the royalties from the cover. The treatment definitely does poke fun at RB's stuttering delivery, but Randy thought it was funny... and again, royaltie$$....
Well that's all fine and dandy but if you guys can't come to the Southern States that's no good. I guess you got to be kind of close to your Geritol and a bed to get a nap I understand

Burton Cummings as lead singer.
.
Loved their songs when growing up, but I had no idea how multi-talented they both were until watching the vids from this show.
Wow. One of my favorite songs from my teens BUT - these could be two COMPLETELY different songs! Amazing. I really ain't HEARD nothin' yet!!
totally entertaining 🤘😁
A TRUE GIANT in the Music Industry! Thank you Randy! :)
No what you mean is, thank you Burton. He's the real giant, Randy was just a hit maker. A good headmaker, but let's not confuse the two.
SIMPLY THE BEST!
You Ain`t Seen NNNNNNNNNothing Yet, great Song forever!!!!!!!
after reading the back story on the friendship, the betrayal and the reconciliation... just great stuff here!
These guys have way too much talent. Just unreal!!
Iconic song no matter tbe tempo. As a kid l was hooked on the unusual and l still am.

Love this slow version!!!! So smoky.
The US/Brit rockers of the 70's have nothing up on these Canadians. Only thing missing is Robbie, Turner, and the rest of the GH, BTO guys.
Randy was the genius behind this band.
Love watching Burton rock out on that guitar
Nunca había visto juntos a Cummimgs y BTO , maestros!!! 🤟
That’s BTO’s version of My Generation. Wonderful Randy!
Well.... never heard the slow version 😊 was in the USN 75/79 heard their music often.
Love Burton doing a slow version. They should go into the studio and re record a slow version by Bachman & Cummings.
I'm pretty sure he DID record this.
02:30 You Ain't See Nothing Yet - fast version as played on the radio.
Love that piano!
Hey this is pretty cool. Love this song done both ways
I love the transition from the slow song to BANG!
Love the bookends equally.

They are not in the RRHOF but 2 pac shakur is? I ain't figured that one out yet.
Fellow band mates in The Guess Who.
More Cowbell! I wonder if that’s a young Tal Bachman? Anyways this song so reminds me of High School
I love the fast version better.
Faster version better because of all the orchestration and drums behind it. Nothin like the original. Such a powerful beat
holly cow thank you so much for sharing man cool tanks
Definitely the fast version
Real masters!!!
Awesome!!!

Yeah...Love his rhythm guitar work in this version. TITE!
Love it...
Awesome

so cool.
Damn I might like slow version better than the regular
Sweet🥀
i believe randy's younger brother had a stutter as a child and the stuttering parts are a bit of tribute to him.....after the song was released he lost his stutter!
... or the Guess Who might just have been influenced by stutter in The Who's "My Generation"
David Kaye I heard a story about that also - that when they were practicing it, his brother stuttered the words, and they decided to keep it that way.
That is right. It was a filler for the album and sometimes the filler becomes the hit.
No, the brother story is true.
The Bill Murray version then the popular one!
Crank it up!
burton is the max
Total flashback
Canadians seem so happy.
Dupla perfecta.
And now we know where Slade got their inspiration for "Run, Run Away."

This song sang slow...blows !
Anybody know what make guitar R Bachman is playing?
He had a very rare guitar stolen by The Tompson Twins guitarist back in the 80s.
I wonder if Randy Newman wrote this?
can dig this but love the origydigy one
