Amazing! Thanks a lot for playing it! Im glad that you liked it and of course I would be happy to make more for you! you just need to ask for it, really! Best wishes and keep up the good job! p.d: I have the official Piano Collections (CD), so there will be no sheet music book? sad to hear that!
Bob Dylan once said of Brian Wilson: "Jesus, that ear! He should donate it to The Smithsonian." I feel the same way about Nobuo-sama. God, what an ear for audible storytelling. I wish I could know what he sees in his mind when he writes these pieces. He takes an idea and puts it into your heart like only the masters can do. Your playing takes my breath away, Kara. Thanks for sharing another piece with us.
Hearing this music brought back the painful storyline of Heavensward. The only expansion of FFXIV that made me cry. Chopin style is crazy and hard but it was beautifully executed T_T
What a fantastic cover of an incredible song. Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward and Shadowbringers had some tracks that moved me to tears. You do magnificent music justice.
I didn’t get around to playing FFXIV, it kind of boggles my mind that they’ve gone that far (and farther I know) since the last installment I played. But hearing this makes me feel young at heart, it’s performed so beautifully!
WOOOOOOW dude so beautifully played and nuanced, as usual, and the arrangement is gorgeous! I will definitely have to check out Pablo's channel for his other stuff!
Bravo! Beautifully performed. I was waiting for this arrangement since you upload Amusement Park. Thank you and Pablo for your work and I hope I can join tonight to your stream!
I've only played a very little bit of FFXIV, so I've never heard this song, but wow... Thank you for playing it, Kara. I might not have heard it otherwise. As always, I can't wait to hear what you play next. You look great too! Someone else also mentioned your choice of wardrobe really suits this song, and they're right. I don't even have the vocabulary to describe it. It looks like a red, velvet trench coat to me, but I'm sure it's some other color I've can't even spell, the material is completely wrong, and it's called some fancy word I don't know. :P
Thanks for sharing this beautiful arrangement. I'll also not-so-secretly hope for more, especially from XIV, since I never got to play it or XI; I feel like I can at least catch up on the score.
Absolutely fantastic you play ! This is a beautiful song. I am currently playing heavensward in Ff14. This song is very soft and emotion at the same time 👍👍
read the lyrics though, and it's less peaceful (I've never played the game, just randomly ran into the pablo enver piano tutorial at some point and fell in love with the song) ... yeah i know the comment I'm replying to is 3 years old
Beautiful. Great arrangement played with so much emotion. And you're right about FFXIV music being great, but I think it does have a lot of fans as the game does, not as underappreciated as it might seem, so I hope you keep playing more XIV too. I know you must receive way too many request. But if possible, please play more from VI, XII and XIII.
Hehe ...just in kase you need/want: "Children of the land, do you hear ekoes of truths that once rang klear? Two souls intertwined. One true love they did find bringing land and heavens near. Having never played any of the games, I feel like knowing all the marvelous music nevertheless. This piece no exception, although I heard this rendition for the first time! I am afraid of starting with the games, since I tend to lose myself in games completely and there are so many of them! The music usually stops when the track/album is over...
Beautiful in every way! Hearing you play live is on my bucket list! Uematso, Tchaikovsky or twinkle twinkle, I need to do it! :) Also for the record, I prefer your own arrangements, although his was good.
@@KaraComparetto I know, and I'm kicking myself hard. I just couldn't get the time to make the trip. I even have family in the area I haven't seen in a long time. Stinking schedule....I must reclaim it! In the meantime, I'm grateful for all the wonderful content that you and your sister upload for us to enjoy. It makes life more lovely.
I love you. You are so talented. Do you have any favorite songs from FFXI? Would you ever consider playing something for us from that one? I feel like there are so many lovely songs from that game. Anyway, thank you for brightening my day with this upload. I hope you had a good day!
Impressive. This theme is not very known but you excel on it. If you take requests from FF music, there's a theme that I haven't still seen in RUclips, I guess it's only reserved to masters like youself, I'm sure you'll know it; from Distant World Concerts, Love Grows. You should make an arrangement and play that amazing theme! Please!!
Thank you for making me like this song. I'm not really a fan of the English vocalist that Uematsu chooses for the FF vocal tracks so I never appreciated this piece. This sounds amazing!!
What camera do you use for these videos? Do you use a separate microphone or a built in one? I am also open to suggestions for these things. I want to record piano videos of my own.
If someone would write you an arrangement for Wail of the Void from Rhapsodies of Vana'diel FFXI that would be a piece that would blow me away, just like this one. Of course, Wail of the Void was composed by Naoshi Mizuta, rather than the more well known Nobuo Uematsu. Check it out sometime, between all your play, practice, and life, if you get five spare moments. :)
Regarding your note to the release of an official Piano Collections release, there was a release in 2019 which I hear is quite good, however, Dragonsong is absent for some reason. You can find it on the Square Enix store or the online retailer of your choice: store.na.square-enix-games.com/en_US/product/524924/piano-collections-final-fantasy-xiv-cd The soundtrack of FFXIV holds an entry in the Guinness World Records for having the most original music pieces in a game, though this being a MMO, one could argue the comparison is not exactly fair: na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/94f1046b746fec91232c35e946ff55cc5a055ccc Only thing I don't like about the OST is that Masayoshi Soken appears to "borrow" tunes from other sources, in different degrees, which led for example to claims by a Nu metal band Soken had stolen their song. This is furthermore complicated through the fact that certain tracks are re-released on newer soundtracks by other names, with the composer suddenly changing from Nobuo Uematsu to Masayoshi Soken, even if there is no audible difference in tune. As a soundtrack "collector" this can be highly annoying, as I fiddle this out manually, but since there's no knowing who put the credits on the box I don't hold a grudge against Soken, personally. Edited: I noticed I forgot to comment on your play. I watch your videos for quite a while now and even felt inspired to pickup playing guitar and keyboard again by this, love that you've done so much with Final Fantasy IX. Keep up the good work, it's easy to see you enjoy making music. I'll listen on in awe and silence.
First of all, I think the video quality was just fine. Secondly, I was thinking about watching one of your videos when you uploaded this. Are you some kind of long distance mind reader or something?😲
I respect differences of opinion and interpretations of art by performers. On the other hand, if I ever became a C-League DC villain, I'd be Metronome. He's like the Clock King, but gets really agitated when things don't keep a steady beat, and is very poorly written. Might get a cameo in season 4 of Doom Patrol. That kind of poorly written villain.
Amazing! Thanks a lot for playing it! Im glad that you liked it and of course I would be happy to make more for you! you just need to ask for it, really! Best wishes and keep up the good job!

What a beautiful arrangement!
Don't get me wrong you're one of my absolute favorite musicians.
But I also know a robe of +3 charisma when I see one.
LOLLLL
100% agreement, ffxiv's music is grossly underrated! This song is one of my favorites by far. So sad yet inspirational.
I can recognize the emotional resonnance of Nobuo Uematsu in the composition and you played this arrangement beautifully. Superb interpretation :)
You're doing excellent job with Nutcracker renditions but your performance on Final Fantasy songs totally melt my heart. Keep on!
Hearing this music brought back the painful storyline of Heavensward. The only expansion of FFXIV that made me cry. Chopin style is crazy and hard but it was beautifully executed T_T
The world these days is so messy, but hearing these masterpieces played by you, Kara, brings me to simpler times, thanks.
I LOVE it! Brings back memories :') One of the best arcs in FFXIV, and one of the best songs!
