@@MB_EDC Not for tech, but I do have a "Knife Maintenance Kit." It is a pouch with oil, thread lock, torx drivers, tweezers, a brush, a container for small screws, and band aids lol

A small stainless steel mirror is always useful. Perhaps a clothes peg/bulldog clip. A small stock of petrolium jelly, literally a tiny amount on hand. A small pencil in addition to the pen. All these things I have found extremely useful in this specific area

Nice video! Just a note for you, if you’re worried about battery life don’t use the wireless charging option on the power bank. Wireless charging is only around 70-80% efficient, so under perfect conditions your 10k mah bank is only giving you 7-8k mah. Not a concern for daily use at home but might be on a long trip. Cheers!

Great point!. The other problem with wireless charging is that it seems to keep charging overnight to the point that the powerbank is drained. It's better to use the cable overnight - as it stops charging when the phone battery is full...

    My tech pouch:
    - Power bank (x2 depending on travel)
    - AA battery/14650 (for my flashlight)
    - a usb-c headset (apple airpods but they work with my macbook and android phone)
    - a usb charger
    - misc usb adapters
    - sim ejector
    Tool pouch:
    - Leatherman knifeless rebar
    - a victorinox bit set (with carefully selected bits)
    - a cisco console cable,
    - antistatic wrist strap
    - tie wraps
    - cage nut tool

Two great kits! Thanks for sharing. I need to get the knifeless rebar....

@MB_EDC I like the bladelessness of it should I need to see it though some overzealous office security. For practical light duty field projects I'm getting the kids the Bond as a reward for passing their own radio foundation license. They're not yet 11 so very very strict supervision 😂

@ Cool! Don't do what I did. Got my three kids and Grandaughter (ages 8-13) a Victorinox Recruit each. Basic safety talk - then let them loose to do some whittling. Within 10 minutes two had come in for plasters/bandaids!!🤣

@MB_EDC I gave the son (boy girl twins) a handyman. But it has to be kept on a shelf in the kitchen at all times and used under supervision. He mostly cuts up his breakfast fruit and opens our bean cans and occasional bottle. At one point he was eating three apples a day just so he could use his knife.

Very responsible. Better than my approach 😁

Hello. I'd like to warn you that the pair of scissors on the jetsetter is considered a bladed item despite its tiny size. Most security agencies will not clear those for cabin carry. And even if they are allowed by some agencies, there's a huge chance that the agent present will Gollum it up. Best to just carry that kit without any multitool or get one with rounded scissors.

Carried them for years TransAsia and trans EU for over 10 years - just changed to Roxon Flex. Got stopped a few times but never taken. I have over 1 -million seat miles. I can see them being taken in UK and a few Asian countries but most places should be OK. Was yours taken? Where, when?

I will give it a go.... And I will look into some folding scissors. I would rather lose £5 scissors than the Jetsetter.
