buy both. disassemble them both, move the hook blade to the FARMER-X, getting rid of the can opener. Rebuild, be happy.

Looks like a nice portable sharpener! The best I've found is the Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker. It has two sets of stones of different grits and they go in pre-set slots angled so you are always sharpening at 20 degrees. It's gotten a bit pricey since I bought it. But it's awesome.

Thanks Mark, I've had one of these for a good few years and find it does a great job, I carry the Alox Keyring knife everywhere and have a couple of the bigger models too. I also use the Felco diamond sharpener which is also very good and the Eze-lap paddles and Opinel Natural Whetstone too, they all have their pros and cons tbh depending on blade type but I enjoy using them all and always like to finish with a hard leather strop with Autosol or Tormek paste ! I've Subscribed and will check out more content !

I love the victorinox dule knife sharpener I've got a few of them been using it for about 12 years I've broken one before so i put it on my keyring works good 👍

A large blade,saw blade,bottle opener,can opener and possibly the punch. Possibly the best Alox model.

The second knife would be a Puukko knife design. Makes sense with the Scandi grind on it. I know, nor can find, nothing about the maker however.

I pair the alox farmer with the Swiss nail card.

Excellent video! So to eliminate any doubt, I have to permanantly disable the lockbar on a Skeletool even if I swap the blade out, with the 91mm Victorinox scissors?

I’ve been edc the farmer since the early 90’s. I use a mini tyrap on the split ring as a toothpick and just let it hang ther3 for immediate use. I like the tweezer trick. Ps one can always whittle a toothpick.

The Swiss Army Seven pairs beautifully with the Swiss Card Lite which basically supplements all the tools that it doesn't have.
