Melissa Errico just gets better and better, but it is so awesome to see her in this- being a grand triple threat leading lady. Who else can move and sound and LOOK and sing LIKE THAT!?? And she's still the same!! Anna was incredibly charming on this video- Anna and Melissa should do a Cole Porter reunion concert with the accordian!

I saw this in tryout September of '97 in San Francisco. Melissa Errico was fabulous. I can't remember if Anna Kendrick was it at that point. Daniel McDonald RiP.

This was the first show I ever saw. I forgot how clumsy the production was! Still, the tunes are glorious, as is the singing!

Hard to judge by an inadequate recording.
Yet it appears mechanical. devoid of humanity- - the last thing a plot about high society needed to make it resonate.
