This guy is going to go places. There are many amazing players out there with tons of chops and versatility but only few have the musicality, inventiveness, style, tone, touch and the compositional sense and Plini has 'em all. He reminds me a lot of Guthrie but he's got his own thing going on musically and that's a very rare thing these days. He's a composer indeed. Very refreshing.

I saw Plini play this live. The entire crowd was in awe of the beautiful light show and the melodic guitar solo in the intro that plays through for a bit. I looked to my left and to my right, all eyes glued to him and bodies stiff. I looked straight at him in the middle of the crowd, raised my hand and gave him the rock on symbol with my hand and waved it around. We locked eyes and he nodded at me. It was such a sick moment.

I can't begin to tell y'all how many times I've listened to this song!
When I first listened to this, this was such a nice song. Then I've listened it over and over until I knew it by heart. Then I started listening with good headphones, and started listening closely to all of the details, such as tone, drum mixing, orchestral sounds etc. Then I started to listen to this to get an upbeat energetic feeling. Then I had it as my alarm clock sound, and I never grew tired of it!
And now I'm still returning to this so much! For the emotions packed in it, for dreaming about being able to play this one day with my guitar, and for trying to wrap my head around how even the parts are built up 😂. And of course for at least trying to play the "simple parts".

HOLY CRAP it took me forever to finally figure it out! I was always struggling trying to figure out where I'd heard this song before, like it just seemed to familiar to me. I knew who it must have been so I flipped through my Dream Theater collection and it is (the first and last sections, at least) the same chords and progression as Solitary Shell (or at least the ending acoustic solo section) and that's why it also made me happy. It is such a happy, joyful, sunny day kind of sound that I love. Well done, Plini! It took me 1 and 1/2 years to figure it out but I figured it out! :) What a great song

People all butthurt about no cable, but in reality, any actual guitar player would know that just by watching the frets, he's spot on the notes, and to think that would mean he would have to have composed this all note by note, solos and all. That's a very classical approach to composition you don't see anywhere really. I'd love to see what this dude could improv.

Robert Giovanni Also drugs, money, narcissism and how these things make you cool which is also a proponent of manipulation whether it's intentional or not, younger audiences are attracted to it and some even make their life based on these things.

To all of you asking about the cable: What does it matter? He can obviously play it live, and even if he couldn't, he can at least compose songs like this. I dare you all to compose something that's even remotely as beautiful as this one is! I guess he just went the no cable way, because it looked cleaner.
(P.S.: I'm willing to listen to anyone who wants to share some of their songs :). Tell me if you want constructive criticism. I love y'all!)
    (P. S. 2 :I am completely utterly unable to find even one of those chords to make something good with, so I'm not saying I could do anything even remotely alike. Just trying to explain the cable thing and encourage y'all to make something cool :))
