the idea of Ripley being cloned from the dead is MAGNIFICENT !!! so whoever are saying that Alien3 & Alien4 are nothing compared to Alien1 & Alien2 are just pure dumb and ignorant of arts and creative production. what we need ALSO would be the specific transition and procedure of the cloning of Ripley...
@@daniil3275 this was the most misunderstood release of all the alien movies If you watch jean Pierre Jeunet's work (the city of lost children, Amelia, a very long engagement), you would gain more appreciation for this film, as a jean Pierre jeunet film - ie the same tropes, visual motifs were all there
I know most of people say this movie is not at level of first and second movies and they're right, but one thing is for sure, this is 100x better than Alien 3, this is a very well made movie, a very underrated film, and hey, it got Tuco Salamanca, Hellboy, Lydia Deetz, Chucky and a Mutant Ellen Ripley on it, there is so much charisma in this film. Very Enyoyable.
@V1ktorvaugn I literally just finished watching Alien³ like 5 minutes ago. It wasn't nearly as bad as I remember it being. Maybe not as good as Aliens, but if it wasn't a movie that was tied to a franchise as beloved as this one nobody would've had anything negative to say about it. Actually, I thought it was closer to the first movie than any of the others managed to get and was a really enjoyable experience. I recommend giving it another watch.

I was fully on board with it until the Newborn. it makes me very grateful the sequels stopped here, plus the ending it leaves us with [Ripley finally returns to Earth] is nice.
Whats fucking inside me?.... The movie was great, but no way near the first 3. Well Prometheus grown on me by time but not Covenant, that one is the weakest link in the series. AVP 1 and 2 does not count..EVER!!

Interesting fantasy movie.
The trailer teased this movie as being Suspenseful, scary and Action packed but it was the complete opposite
So obvious that Winona will turn into an alien and eat Sigourney Weaver then have alien babies.

I try, but by God, I just can't enjoy this movie. It feels like "Jason X" but this fanchise has always been in space, so... dunno.

First act is pretty strong. Gets weak after some of the most notable characters die.
It's not that bad. I think it's a cool movie, maybe too commercial or stylized, but not as bad as Jason X, that was goofy.
