I picked up a pair of last year's QST 98's back in sept since they were trying to make room for this year's model. Best freaking ski's i've ever owned. I've never really put much focus on skiing a lot, it was just somethign to do with the family. But these ski's and how they handle make me feel like I have to be out skiing all the time, they are fan-freaking-tastic.

what about the Enforcer vs the Qst? In fact I'd be really fascinated to hear about the Nordica Enforcer 104 Unlimited vs the Salonon QST 106 Echo. Both super versatile and light enough for touring. ..in fact the Enforcer Unlimited is ssurprisingly light, and even lighter then the QST Echo, whereas if you compare the Enforcer Free 104 to the QST 106 the Nordica is heavier...so however they did it, Nordica managed to shave off a lot more weight in the "touring version"

Thanks for your comparison! But which ski would you prefer on irregular frosty hard bumps on a steep slope where you have to constantly turn quickly, adapt, really work yourself down and falling is not an option?

Snow is hard and firm, regardless of bumps or not Unleashed 98

This is super helpful. Do you think it'd be ok to mount the Unleashed +2cm forward from factory rec so that you have a little bit more versatility for skiing switch?

The factory recommended mount point is -7.2cm back from center. If you spent a lot of time skiing switch you can certainly mount them forward 1-2cm and the ski will still feel balanced. If you only ski or land switch once in awhile but use it mostly as an all mountain twin tip we find the recommended point to be really versatile.

How does unleashed compare to rustler 9? If I'm advance skier want to learn and do some switch skiing but not rail or park?

@@richardxiang3852 Figuring out switch skiing on the Rustler 9 won’t be a problem. The tail is kicked up enough and it’s a less directional ski than others in the 95-100mm all-mountain category. The Unleashed’s design is more geared toward freestyle riding so it will feel more comfortable going switch but not by a hugely noticeable difference. The Rustler has everything you need to ski switch and is gonna be a more powerful and confident ski all over the mountain. If you want to learn how to ski switch but don’t prioritize having a playful ski elsewhere, the Rustler is the way to go!

@@TheSkiMonster thanks for replying! Does that mean the rustler 9 will be better at carving? I have demoned the maverick 95 ti and really liked it, may I know how does the rustler compares to the maverick? The maverick will not get the switch skiing job done as it has very little tail rocker?
