My family moved from Wales to Corby 1960, lived there for 1 year only. Went to Hazel Lees secondary school. Lived at 23 Berlin Place. Dad worked at Stewart & Lloyds steel works. I remember Corby fondly, made lots of good friends. wonder where they are now? Stephen Westwood, Roy McCulloch, Margaret White, Lyn Jones, where are you now my long lost friends? All the best Michael Power.
You missed out the Olympic swimming pool we've got, it's to the right of the Cube, the big black and silver building, you can see it when you walk back across the zebra crossing and we've got adrenalyn alley and the gymnastics academy in the industrial estate both have produced gold medals in the Olympics, Corby might be a rough Town but its our Town, thanks for coming anyway much appreciated 👍
Corby is a tough town . But we get along , most of the time. I remember the late 80's when we used to hire buses to Mull err our arch , sheep shagging neighbours Kettering ! Flea bag , Ally , cookie , lilt , cab and Buck. Poor times , but wouldn't. Change it for the tea in China , johnny mcay , Dickie cush! Evo stick and fix o fix , yep we lived it and loved it . Corby boys we are here. , shag your woman and drink your beer , oh oh , up oh oh , go ho . Eggy language , much love . 😎
Born and raised here, in US now. My Auntie lives on Elizabeth St.
So mant wonderful memories ❤
Me too! Born in 1963 Beanfield Avenue, now live in US.
Turns out the Mall is pretty much smaller than Northampton’s. I’ve now changed my mind about paying a visit. Thank you for this virtual tour
Nice! 😁 Always happy to be on a journey with you! So much to see! 😁
Thanks, I appreciate it!

Unfortunately there’s a stick of truth in your comment, a government grant that was way over budget. Ended up getting more to control it.
