  • A short video showing you how to draw insulation batting in NanoCAD, if you know AutoCAD then it's pretty much exactly the same, however if you know AutoCAD, then you probably wouldn't be searching for this.

The Sketchup model can be used to create construction details!/documents and sent to layout for more construction details like what nanocad can do and sketchup make can do it

I used Sketchup some years ago, I didn't like it, it's not my sort of software. Don't know how it is now but I found it uncertain and too artistic.

Can't you do this detail in Revit? This is why I prefer Autocad over Revit anytime.

Yes I can, I am fluent in 'Revit'. I am just interested in NanoCAD which is almost identical to AutoCAD in how it works, am going to be doing some videos in NanoCAD as I practice along with it.

@@DrawingTechnical I'm the opposite. I'm an AutoCAD and 3d max veteran learning Revit.

It's funny because we have a Michael at office who's also an AutoCAD veteran and he's had to recently learn Revit. His comments about Revit are the same as yours. I've wondered if you were him but you're in Australia, so that rules that out.

@@DrawingTechnical I haven't practiced much here in Australia although I am architect trained. I mean Revit is just a tool, you can still create wonderful architecture using a fucking drafting table, T-square and some color markers. I just feel that the focus lately has shifted from the design to the tools that architects use. That's why the industry is fucked up. We need a renaissance.
