    Amazing vases ADE, I like how as they dry they warp into unique shapes.
    Keep on turning.
    Cheers, Bluey 👍

    If you cut on the side of the vase when your hollowing it out it'll be alot easier for you rather than cutting on the top of it on the inside and it's a hell of alot safer and you'll get way less catches and won't need that clamp attached to your tool rest which is a nightmare all by itself. Watch some videos on turning because your very unsafe and somethings gonna happen to you one of these times and your gonna gett hurt real bad

      Thank you very much! I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to warn me about a potential danger!❤️
      Usually I go with the classic methods but this time I was just curious to try this method(It seems to work).
      Cheers!

      @@ade-woodcrafts you can do whatever works for you but it's more likely for something to happen the way you did things in that video thats sll. And your very welcome I'm no expert by any means and I've only been turning for a little over a year now but have seen alot of shit happen and have had my share of pieces come hellin off the lathe and it ain't no good. Just tryin to help someone out wherever I can. Good luck and safe turning. Nice video also and nice piece it turned out good

      @@whild017 I've had wood flying off the lathe a couple of times 😂especially when I was at the very beginning but I was lucky because I was standing on the side.
      I hope you will stick around for further "startling" videos!🤗👍💪

      @@ade-woodcrafts as long as u know what mistakes u made your good just learn from em and don't repeat them. That's the only way your gonna get better at anything is my screwing up and making mistakes but you have to learn from those mistakes in order to get better alot of people just fuck shit up n never learn and just keep destroying things and making the same mistakes and think their amazing and they never will be because they didn't learn from any of the things they messed up. Your videos r good there was just a few things that could cause problems and I wasn't sure if u were aware of em or not which is y I pointed it out thats all

    Hartia si scociul pus dupa ce ai strunjit protejeaza sa nu crape daca lemnul nu e uscat inca sau ce face ?

    • @ade-woodcrafts
      @ade-woodcrafts  3 года назад +1

      Banda împiedică evaporarea prea rapidă a umezelii pe pereții exteriori și previne crăparea lemnului dar nu in totalitate, ci doar ajuta.

      Hey, I'm glad this video is useful! I have had this lathe for some time, unfortunately I have not had the chance to work on others but I can tell you a few things about it. The best thing about this lathe is the variable speed which makes it very versatile, the next thing is the ease with which it operates, you can change the speeds on the go, another interesting and useful thing is that you can rotate the motor assembly at different angles up to 180 degrees.

    • @ade-woodcrafts
      @ade-woodcrafts  3 года назад

      The only downside I've found so far is that it doesn't have the rotation reversal for finer sanding.
