One of my favorites that doesn’t get so much attention is her cover of a famous Russian song called Я тебя отвоюю - ya tebya otvoyuyu (in English: I Will Win You Back), which she performed a few months ago on the Masked Singer show. @hearingninja : Beautiful. Whatever song she picks, she makes them beautiful if it's needed or makes them even more beautiful. For me, her qualities always overgrows and fades away the compositor's qualities.
I wish i could understand her singing in a first language level. It must be different experience, for sure. But, to be honest, she could sing even the phonebook or the calendar - it doesn't matter to me - i would be amazed anyway.
But!
Most of people, most of time, talking about her gorgeous voice or her tragic childhood only, but only few words about her lovely personality.
I spend hours and hours to translate interviews/podcasts (sometimes word by word), and if it's possible then i would say her personality overtopping her vocal qualities. When there is a serious topic to talk about, she is intelligent and way more wise than expected in her age; when there is something easy fun going on, then she also gets the jokes and spontaneously makes jokes too.
+ I've seen her singing "The Day You" duett with Brandon.
We can no longer avoid to talk about the elefant in the room. She is sparklingly beautiful womanly woman.
It was the first time when i looked her as a 100% complete real Diva.
You are just now getting started if you continue to watch her performances, I can assure you that you will be blown away every single time. The better ones are like you are watching on these competitions because of the stage performances highlights her amazing stage performance there are so many more for you to enjoy, please continue it will be worth your time you’ve heard no other voice like this

"Derniere Danse" is a cover song of the original by French singer Idila - No, this was not "The Voice" This was 14yo Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You're Super!" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo. (Read her Wikipedia entry). She is a natural dramatic contralto (VERY deep!) which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young! Diana also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones, so sounds like more than one voice when she sings, multiple voices sometimes! Now *(at 20yo)* she has at least a 5 octave range. Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russia in Primorsky Territory, northeast of Vladivostok.
The original song "The day you...." was released just 2 months ago, just a couple of days after my youngest son, who was my best friend, died at 44yo. This song completely destroyed me emotionally, and it still does. SO very beautiful, so very sad, at least for me because he will never again walk into my home.

Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion. Having watched well over 100 initial reactions to her, only one did NOT say she was "unique".
Diana was born in 2003, May 31st. Now she is 20 years old.

It’s funny how you mentioned Adele because Diana said very recently in an interview (like a few days ago!) that she really admires Adele and thinks they have some artistic similarities.
And yeah, it’s likely that you’ve heard her before because the first video of her at 14 has been circulating around the internet for years. Her cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love at age 18 has also become very popular, you might have seen that too- lots of people said that she sounds like a siren in that performance
