- 2021 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback comes standard with halogen low beams and high beams and it is by far a must do if your'e planning on purchasing this car. As well as orange reflective side markers. These inexpensive mods is definitely a nice step up.

Nice man, congrats on the car. I am trying to avoid getting a new car I don't need (have an older Civic that runs fine...) and this is not helping 😅
The lights that come with the car don't look cool, but, It is known that white lights look cooler, for the person driving it is good, but not for others, because those lights dazzle the eye, that is why the other lights are used in these cars, it is for the safety of the the rest

What are the led low beams u used the link won’t work anymore i found the company but are they 9005,9006,9007 ?

They're bright but not too bright that it'll cause some drivers to think your using high beams. Thanks for the video suggestion.

Hey I replaced my headlights too but not gonna lie the leds aren’t very bright especially in dark places is this the same for you?
They're OK and get the job done. Better than the stock halogens for sure.. But I will be upgrading them soon 😁

With my side markers…For some reason I cannot pull the bulb out of the socket to replace with the new LED one. I already shattered one of them trying to put it out, so I guess I will need to replace the whole socket ?

Is a gap between the sidemark light and under the body tire?
For the aftermarket side markers? There's no gap. You would have to take the 2 screws off you fender line to get access to the side marker.
@@chris_timefk8 i know but the original orange side marker has a lip between the light and the body car do the new one has the same lip or exactly the same shape as the orange? Take a pic from under the light and you will see the gap that im talking about, that maybe can create access from water to the engine
That's odd my 2020 came with LED. Is that the touring model?
Touring comes standard with LED and some other features. but it's 4k extra.
Sport has halogen.
I just recently bought a 2021 civic hatchback sport. I was wondering if your using a 2020 civic hatchback sport bulbs cause on the link for Amazon it can’t find a match for the bulb
Yup. They will fit the car fine. Its just the 2021's are new and Amazon or the seller hasn't updated the info yet.

I purchased these side markers from the link tagged in the description. First bulb turned on and worked but the other side didn’t. Than the next day the one that was working quit working also, so now I got 2 bulbs that don’t turn on at all. Does anyone know why this is? I put in for a replacement, however I am now kind of suspicious that it may be a connection issue although extremely unlike, as I made damn sure they were well connected.
so no conversion kit? just buy these bulbs and everything is included?

Why does my highbeams are always on when i put it auto?
Try pushing on the left lever towards the dash. Also the car is standard with auto high beams. Then there's also a chance that your sensor is faulty..

I have wanted the 10th Gen civic hatchback sport since it dropped in 2016. I’ve been waiting to purchase it as I needed to clear some college loans first. Everyday I’ve thought of this car, and have been envious every time I see it on the road. I found your videos a few months ago and have watched them all and plan to copy quite a few of your mods.

Nope. Since it's just lightbulbs. But just to make sure, I would call your dealer. My dealer didn't void my warranty when I did mine.

Does anyone know if there's some calibrating you need to do when installing LEDs? Sometimes it seems people's LEDs are way too bright and I don't wanna be in that camp.
How dyou like the hatch ? Im tryna get myself an Si but there's not much available in midwest and my dealer is trying to find me one 🥲 sports touring hatch is my 2nd option.
The sport hatch is great. May be lacking power for some. But for the most part it's good enough..
Also you can always tune it and throw a cold air intake on it for a much better experience!

Thanks for this vid, man. I'm buying one of these cars in the next week. As soon as I buy it, I'm immediately going to pick up some LED headlights. Those halogen look absolutely gross. I am so glad to see that the headlights on the Civic are designed to be swapped out from just popping the hood. I'm upgrading from a 2007 Fit, and for those, you have to go in through the wheel covers....just a pain.

No issues at all. Amazon hasn't updated the description yet but so far so good on my end.

No. They were plug and play bulbs. No adjustment necessary
Thanks to your video I just did it on my 2021 Sports Hatchback. Everything was soooo easy and came up perfect! (back in the day when I did it on my 2007 Civic Coupe it was a nightmare, lol).

I have issues with the back tabs locking into place. You had no issues like that right? Any way you can help me fix this problem?
Depending on the replacement u buy I found that the clip that holds it in was molded a tiny bit to big. Enough that it would not clip in. I found filing the plastic clip a tiny bit at a time till u get a snug fit works. I made the mistake of taking to much off on one light and its a little loose. But I learned for the other side.
The small white metal trim neds to be piano black.
What is the life expectancy of the low/high light bulbs?
How did you cover the holes from front license plate
I'm from PA and we don't do front license plates. Being a brand new car it never had holes drilled for front plates.
@@chris_timefk8 man, that is great. I am from Hawaii. There were two big holes in front bumper.
@@chris_timefk8 I'm so jealous of that. I'm in Illinois. I''ll risk not having the front plate, or put it in the windshield or something. But there are two giant holes in my brand new 21 Sport Hatch 6MT.

Can the side indicators be switched back to the orange? I’m on a 3 year lease but I’d love to use the darked out ones rather than orange for the time I have the car at least
Yes. Just keep the stock side marker and when it's time to bring the car back, just put the orange side markers on.

no, he didnt plug it into the turn signal, but he could if he wanted to by connecting the wire he cut off into the turn signal
(Did you change out your fog lights too? To complete the look.) PrecisionLED has a civic LED kit for the interior/trunk/reverse lights. Got to change my side markers now. Great vid!
I haven't done fog lights yet. However I did get yellow fog light covers which you just stick on over your fogs. I'll get LED bulbs for the fogs one day.
Led interior is soon to come as well 👍

Have you had any complains from other drivers? LEDs in Projectors can be a bit much sometimes for oncoming traffic. Is it crazy or do you think its okay?
No complaints so far. They're not crazy bright but its far better than the stock bulbs the sport hatch came with.

Side markers are easy. However in the video the side markers I purchased were switchback. But I didn't want to risk wiring it wrong. Lol

Yes the link is correct. It should fit just fine. Try twisting the bulb into the housing until it snaps into place.

I just changed mine a couple days ago (2021 Sport Hatchback). I purchased the ones on the link provided and they fitted perfectly.

When you put them in did your car stop making the beeping noise when locking it?
I got the ones you put in the description and now it’s not making the locking beep noise
The car didn't do anything new when I installed these. You might have to go to your settings and enable beep when locking car
@@chris_timefk8 I ended up doing that right before you replied to me everything was turned on, I ended up having to do a factory reset in the system and now they work like normal.

The same bulbs that came with the kit. It was a set for low and high beams.

Did you have issues with the side markers not turning on? I also ordered them and installed them. 1 turned on and the other didn’t, than the next day the one that was working no longer turned on either. Super bummed!
@@CadenMichnal dang dude sorry to hear that. Mine have been working just fine since I installed them. Maybe double check your splices? Could’ve come loose or something.
@@1justice0 I cut the long cored on both side markers like the guy in the video. This wouldn’t cause it would it? Mine were also super bright, I thought maybe they were too bright which caused them to burn out. Idk. Connection was definitely solid though. I got a replacement order coming so hopefully those work.

You Should of just bought a sport touring.
It wasn't worth the extra 5k in my opinion. Its the same car but with a sun roof, heated leather seats and led headlights. Sport was perfect for me.
