I just came across Ryan's interview on soft white underbelly, and naturally, i was intrigued by his story. Was sad to find out that he passed away. I love your description of a bad trip. It's not scary monsters. It's the feelings. Obviously the exact details don't line up, but the feelings line up exactly with my experiences. So much so it's making me remember a little more than I want to, a little more vividly than I'd like.
Its like everything is alive! Hairs dancing, grass,leaves,everything looks vibrant and like seeing for the first time. I used to eat acid 5x a week for a good 6 months. Really burned me out for awhile lol✌

Every new day. Every new year that you experience yourself with LSD is going to be a completely different thing to you. There is NO “been there done that” with acid. I think you would be SERIOUSLY surprised if you were to trip now. Now that your a parent and that you are clean(I know you use Suboxone for maintenance) but still point is you don’t want any piece of being dependent and caught up risking your life and freedom. You should give credit to Acid helping you through to this point where you are doing so well in life. Proud of you Ryan! Thank You for the stories brother
The last time I did it was with my fiancé Karina a couple years ago. We had just finished a gallon of whiskey and were fighting before it kicked in. It was a horrible trip!

@@theangryitalian7922 I get really anxious until the deed has been done, I used to hate waiting to score unless I wasn't sick. I don't have to worry about these things nowadays as it has been 3 years without going back to that life.
Deano id be lying if I said I don’t have my slips here or there... but I don’t get high from it anymore.. I’ve been on 70mgs of methadone maintenance for a few years now. It saved my life. Was doing a brick+ daily prior to that.. now my issue is the anxiety meds ontop of it.. kinda stuck on Xanax 2-4mg a day.
But I’m a lot healthier, not abusing any of it, and working in the direction of total abstinence.
@@theangryitalian7922 I've been clean for 3 years now, all thanks to kratom. I used kratom to get off suboxone which I used to get off methadone, I tried to get off of methadone many times the withdrawals are hell suboxone being runners up. If you ever decide to get of the methadone without withdrawals try kratom. But anyway don't let anyone tell you you're not clean when you're on methadone it helps you to lead a healthy and normal life
@Adrian De Nava you're right with what you say, Im a recoving addict too. But thanks to kratom I've been a good boy lol for 3 years, although some would say I am still in active addiction using kratom as a substitute for harder drugs. I think that is crap, if you are using suboxone, methadone or kratom and it improves your life, mends relationships and keeps you a productive member of society that is a great thing. You know this as well as anybody I'm sure but LSD is such a truth drug. I love it you can't bullshit on LSD with yourself. I am a drug addict myself and you can always see the true reality of things. I will always be a advocate for psychedelics even though I don't trip anymore. You cannot do LSD without facing the truth such a wonderful drug. It really saved my life as a young man I suffered from depression so bad and it helped a lot it made me feel like I wasn't alone in the world. Such an intimate story my friend. Relapse is almost like losing someone to death, especially after accumulating a lot of clean time. I have been there myself. But like you said in the video if it ever happens again we just gotta take it on the chin and not let it happen again. But hopefully it doesn't ever happen again. I enjoy your videos and can share the emotion because I have been through so much of the same stuff. One thing I always try to remember and tell myself internally is that there is never, ever, ever a good enough excuse to relapse. Nothing period. No matter what we are going through. With that mentality we can keep going. Anyway, I hope all is good with you, your family and friends.

When I was in high school I would trip on coricidins. That's really the only thing I ever tried that was a trip high. It was ok when I was younger I couldn't imagine doing it now! I'd be so scared I think. I had a friend that always wanted me to try X with her but I seen her have good trips and bad. When it was good for her it was good when it was bad it was bad. Try to keep this short so the 1st time I did ccc my friend had tried it the week before so we walk to a park close to her house she says take 8 I'll take 8 we're going to sit on the swings for an hour don't get up until at least 1hr we'll stand up at the same time. So swing, talk, over an hour I'm like dude I don't feel shit this was a waste of time. Stood up, fell right on my face into the woodchips that was covering the playground. I was trippin hard. I noticed a few years ago at Walgreens now the ones we took for that are behind the counter! We just walked into the drug store in the mall and stole them for years! Here in New Mexico, I live on a NativeAmerican Indian reservation and the epidemic of heroin and meth are so bad, I'm involved with a behavior health program that's trying to implement on how to keep our youth and young adults off these Drugs. Great story Ryan! I lived with a friend that would only let me stay with him if I was clean and going to meetings. One day they asked anybody have 3 months? And he kept asking are you gonna get the chip? Anyways I felt forced into it but man oh man did I feel like a looser. And not only that I looked rough as hell still. I’m sure they all knew but my friend wanted to believe so bad
