Just use Fury Cutter. Assuming it didn't miss, and you warmed it up on her Clefairy (which she won't have in any more remakes of Gen 2), it should be able to one-shot Miltank
I just want to point out that a gigantic stadium with only 2 elevators leading to the top (which has a bottleneck, only one elevator leading to the bottom) just big enough to fit a couple of people is a MASSIVE, MASSIVE FIRE HAZARD! Just saying. Maybe shouldn't use Corona. ***BREAKING NEWS*** The so-called "hero" of the story torches an entire stadium filled with innocent civilians by mistake, slaughtering thousands. Evil villains shake their heads. "We just wanted to make evil pokemon, not kill people..."

sad part is I counted one of the stands and it had I think 120 people in it... even if there were only like 8 of them thats still like 960 people in the crowd alone, plus whoever is downstairs, the Cipher Peons and Admins, the challengers plus Nascour and Evice... Yeah he said sunflora was crap. I disagree he didn’t take into account sunfloras chlorophyll ability to move twice as fast in the sun plus solar beam doesn’t require an extra turn. Sunflora can be a beast if used right.
I definitely agree with that mentality, but I’m never gonna use Yanma in this game, it has to use Uproar until the 40s where it gets WING ATTACK. It doesn’t even get to use Baton Pass in this game, where I could see it genuinely being pretty useful.
Emile has called Duskull and Tynamo practically useless until they evolve, but I've used them both before. In Duskull's case, it's actually just kinda okay, but certainly not useless. As for Tynamo, yeah, it has only four moves available to it until it evolves, and its stats are nothing to write home about, but if you know when and how to use it, it's actually just fine. Situational, but still fine.
My personal Zangoose I think is great, but mostly due to it's hidden ability Toxic Boost, which is basically a Poison-exclusive Guts. Toxic Orb coupled with a STAB Facade while poisoned, Shadow Claw for coverage, and it's a friggin' monster.
Bronze Facade During I think my first playthrough of Pokemon Black and White 2, I caught a Zangoose with Toxic Boost, gave it a toxic orb, and it destroyed EVERYTHING! Also, in my first playthrough of Pokemon X back in 2013, I caught a Pikachu with a Light Ball and that destroyed everything.
You know what? I just noticed something after all of this time. Nintendo or whoever actually designed the character models kind of skimped on Nascour quite a bit. Where in the world are his hands?! You could argue that he has really long sleeves, but that'd be super lazy design at best.
Hey, Bill Gates, what did you do? Bill: I managed to make one of the best selling computers and donate half of my money to charity. And what did you do God? God: I created existance. And what did you do Chugga? Chugga: I CAUGHT A BANANA TREE!!!

So nice to meet someone who likes Zangoose and agrees that he's overlooked. He's my favorite pokemon of all, not only because he's a great pokemon for battle, but also because he's just a really cool pokemon all together. So, I'm glad somebody gave him some love. =)
Hmph. I was hoping Chugga would beat Ston's Cradily with Explosion. When he sent out Affection, I was hopeful. Why, Chugga? Why did you not make your Walnut explode?
You know, rewatching this, I think that the battle challenge in Realgam Tower totally could be an elite four challenge. After all, they are four matches one after the other, and they all specialize in a specific type (Normal, Dark, Fire, Grass).
"Who doesn't use psychic types?" I've played from blue to Y and have only used one psychic type- Mr. Mime- and that was in blue, before the special split.
Now that you mention it, yeah, I think he got one and I went "Oh, a good item". As a defensive kind of player, I always loved Leftovers. Multiscale Lugia (with Roost or Recover and Leftovers) has to be my favorite pokemon ever.
I like the touch of having the shadow pokemon trainers in the first rounds of the challenge actually have specialties that match one of the types of the shadow pokemon they use
I feel like they introduced so many dark-type pokemon in gens 2 and 3 because psychic types were such special cannons. Alakazam especially, with his crazy high special attack and speed, could just one-shot almost anything, regardless of type. Still, the prevalence of wild poochyenas and npc trainers' mightyenas in R/S/E really nerfed the usefulness of psychic types in those games, far too much so in my opinion. It got really hard to train up anything from the Ralts or Abra families when you constantly have to run away from any poochyena and switch out from npcs' mightyenas or carvanhas.
@@spencerbowden2979 I agree, but I don't see how that addresses my original statement, lol. I was talking about the prevalence of early-game Dark types, not the typing itself. It was much-needed.
Grass in video games, particularly fantasy games, usually means you're in the first level or area of the game or something, so yeah, grass-types might seem out of place this late in the game. I mean, there's never been a grass-type Elite Four member, so that might be why.
im late saying this but I can respect him not using the ball glitch something im unable to resist on doing but its good see some people are resistant to it but most aren't like myself how many of us use the ball glitch I know I do especially the master ball
If you haven't noticed before, but look closely at Cradilly, and you can see a thin ring like connecting its petals(Don't know really how to describe it, but around 22:23 when the camera is behind it you can kinda see what I mean.)
I actually used a Luxray in my Pokémon Platinum playthrough... it's pretty awesome. It's pretty slow, sure, but it does quite a bit of damage. Only downside is that its movepool... kinda sucks... pretty bad.
Wes: Yay, we're gonna fight Nascour, I'm so excite- OH MY GOD COME ON. How did they get all those people into that colosseum, though? There's about a thousand, like you said, and there are only two elevators, and it opened THAT MORNING... 20:53 You got this, Chuggaa! You got this! 1, 2, WAIT WHAT WE'RE FINALLY BATTLING NASCOUR YAY :D I'm just really excited
My first pokemon game was colosseum, my second was xd, my third was pearl... so like, i have a very strong attachment to both xd and 4th gen. i love them all so dern much haha
Uuriu I've actually never played Colloseum of XD, and Ive never seen and XD LP so I'd really get a 110% kick out of an XD LP, especially from Chuggaa. Im not going to die if he goes XD first so I suppose XD would be coolio.
Also, it's not exactly a shock for Tropius to get caught easily. You've got over a 26% chance to catch it at full health. Kind of wish he knew that before he yelled.
Damn, I'm using Absol in my party at the minute. Can't learn Crunch, that's bull though! It's got teeth ain't it!? Sword Dance with a good physical move can be good though (doesn't even have to be a Dark move). Poor cat though. XD
***** Ah, I see. My mistake. To be honest though I would've been satisfied which Crunch being available to Absol. It does 80 damage and has a chance of flinching.
What everyone's forgetting is that prior to Gen IV all Dark moves were special, which is unfortunate in Absol's case. I also realized a few weeks ago that Houndoom was one of the few Dark-tpes who could be useful in Gen III and earlier. It could take advantage of Crunch due to its high Special Attack stat.
But most Dark-type Pokémon in Gen II were physical attackers (see Mightyena and Absol). In Gen III just because a move got STAB doesn't make it a good choice for a moveset. As I said, Houndoom's an example of a Dark-type Pokémon that benefits from the pre- physical/special split.
Is there a male version of Miltank? If so, what is it called? If not, how do they reproduce? 9:21-9:50 It's difficult to discern individuals when there is a full view of a section of the stands, but I counted 98 people in one section. There are 11 sections. If the number of people in each section is about the same, there should be roughly 1,078 people in the stands. The 1,000th visitor might have gotten there before you did.
+Sean Fearnley no, miltank and tauros aren't related. They can breed, but the result will always be miltanks because miltank will always be the female parent in this situation
Okay, when I'm not using earphones, you warn people to watch out. When I'm using earphones, you don't warn me and give me a little bit of headache. Godmanit.
Volke Alamar Uh, I hope not. But she is a terrible gym leader though, like Clair. They both act like spoiled little babies, and they don’t actually care about their Pokémon at all. But, at least they aren’t Gary. ‘Smell you later!’
Meg Griffin Yep, but at least Silver learns from his mistakes, and becomes a GOOD trainer when you beat him for the final time. Then, and only, then, does Silver learn to treat his Pokémon like partners, and not slaves. But, to be fair, before that, at the beginning, what were you really expecting from Giovanni’s son, the leader of one of the biggest crime syndicates, you know,Team Rocket?! The biggest Pokémon thieves in the land at the time of Pokémon Gold/Silver’s release. I know, Silver was trying to take down the revived Team Rocket, (Neo Team Rocket as they were called)his own way, but it was a very douchey way to go about it, just saying. Sorry for the long message, ma’am.
i counted the people in one section of the crowd and there is about 100 of them. there is most likely more than 10 sections, so yes. there is definitely 1000 people in realgam tower. wes is not the 1000th visitor, but still there is 1k that have entered in 1 day, which is pretty good.
I think Emolga looks awesome. Sometimes "Cute" can look "Cool," depends on the approach. But when I first played White1, Emolga was also part of my team.
When I was little playing Pokemon Emerald I'd always see Zangoose and always wanted to catch one so bad more then anything. When I grew up, I realized that you couldn't obtain it. I looked every single route 5 times for it. I wanted it so bad. It looks so cool.
To those saying Tropius has a catch rate of 200: retroactively it's now more impressive to see this, because Dragonfree on the Cave of Dragonflies discovered how pokemon in colosseum and XD have modified catch rates, and Tropius has a rate of 45 in this game. So it's pretty cool that he got it
it is arguably one of the best wall breakers in the metagame because of its dual base 150 attacking stats and access to such moves as draco meteor, outrage, extremespeed, v-create, swords dance and dragon dance, so yeah he's a beast
I love how him was so happy to caught a Tropius, but for what his used, it was more than 300/255 using Toxic and the Great ball. He could just use the Poke ball to catch it xD
Protect is a good move. It needs to be used for things like Earthquake or even as a safety net. People need to get off his case about that. Haha, either he didn't know how to counter Double Team, or this was an earlier generation... Which you can still counter Double Team in. No need for an apology. Ranting is nice at times. Also congratulations on being the... 34th person to reply to one of my comments on this video in less than 12 hours! Haha.
Currently on my second run of Colosseum using my emulator. Right now I'm grinding at Mt Battle to get two TMs for two of my main members. As of today my main team: Ortiz (Espeon)- Psychic, Return, Reflect, Helping Hand (will replace Return with Morning Sun), Lv49 Chara (Umbreon)- Bite, Toxic, Confuse Ray, Faint Attack (Bite will be replaced with Moonlight), Lv49 Ground Bat (Gligar; couldn't come up with a better nickname)- Earthquake, Poison Sting, Faint Attack, Slash, Lv48 Wind Waker (Suicune)- Aurora Beam, Surf, Gust, Rain Dance (Ice Beam will replace Aurora Beam once I get 4000 Poké Coupons), Lv49 Krejci (Raikou)- Spark, Quick Attack, Rain Dance, Leer (T-Bolt will eventually replace Spark and Protect will replace Leer; Crunch will replace Quick Attack once I get to Lv61), Lv49 Once I'm at a high enough level I'll be catching Gonzap's Skarmory. I know people will be mad at me for using legendaries, but a lot of Water-types in Colosseum either don't have the stats to take advantage of being a Water-type (Feraligatr), I'm going to be using another Pokémon of the same type (Mantine), or I used it in a previous run (Octillery). I also love fast Electric-types, although I may end up using Ampharos in another Colosseum run in my emulator.
psychic is my favorite type. I love psychic types that is why I have 6 or 7 Mewtwo in Blue Red and Yellow. I really like your channel and cannot wait for you to play more Pokemon games. I wish though that you would play more roleplaying games like Dragonquest or Final Fantasy or something like that. Yes I know that Pokemon is a roleplaying game.
Poor Chugga he is so proud of capturing that Tropius because he doesn't know its a 200/255 chance of catching him at full health with a normal pokéball!
*Earlier in the LP:* "Money is plentiful in this game, you should never worry about running out!"
*In this episode:* "I don't want to waste my ultra balls, because they're expensive and I'm low on money"
Money is not plentiful in colosseum. It is in the later sun/ moon and sword/shield games
...And now you understand why people use the Pokeball glitch.
"Miltank's really well-known for using Rollout"
That's an understatement. I *still* have Goldenrod Gym flashbacks!
The hell did you use?
+IAmMissingnoMaster same I used bayleaf reflect and heracross brick break
Just use Fury Cutter. Assuming it didn't miss, and you warmed it up on her Clefairy (which she won't have in any more remakes of Gen 2), it should be able to one-shot Miltank
Lucahjin beat Whitney first try.
Whitney isn't that bad as long as you have a good strategy. I find Claire tougher no matter what team I challenge her with.
I just want to point out that a gigantic stadium with only 2 elevators leading to the top (which has a bottleneck, only one elevator leading to the bottom) just big enough to fit a couple of people is a MASSIVE, MASSIVE FIRE HAZARD!

He was used to it
Miltank- Milk and Tank, relating to its design and stats
Absol- absolution, freeing oneself from guilt
Houndoom- Hound and Doom
Fun Fact: Houndoom is one of the first dark type Pokemon, it is the Dark Pokemon most likely called that because it was one of the first and most iconic dark types.
Tropius- tropical and saurus, a suffix used for dinosaurs
This arena actually reminds me of the Battle Tower from Destiny Deoxys.
I honestly feel the same... the irony being that both are known for double battles.
"who doesn't use psychic types all the time, i mean come on!"
*awkwardly raises hand*
I know that feel, bro.
I have that with fire and electric
cyndaquilofpower I have that with Psychic and Fighting.
cyndaquilofpower
Smogon coughs awkwardly
The only one I like to use in my playthroughs is Meditite and Medicham
"Is Grass/Flying, which is a unique type"
Not anymore!
Shenanigannons wasn't even unique when this came out.

that reaction of catching a pokemon with a capture rate of 200 lol
Thank Swalot hi
According to a calculator, based off the ball used and the Hp of Tropius etc there was a 14.34% chance of catching it.
I agree i don't care how high a pokemon is on a competitive tier list if i like it i'll use it
Conner Niri that is really all that matters, any pokemon can be good with the right moves and if you know how to use it.
master temp1ar Depends. That counts in Single Player and for certain Pokemon in Competitive (Especially OU Mons which are often very useful even in Uber). Or in AG. So hey, if you wanna show that a certain Pokemon can be good even in Competitive, Anything Goes on Showdown welcomes you.

Who died of Chugga screaming that he caught a tropius at full health
you call it a colosseum challenge I call it the final shadow pokemon gauntlet
Get you someone who's as happy to see you as Chuggaa was to catch that Tropius

Bill: I managed to make one of the best selling computers and donate half of my money to charity.

Chugga: I CAUGHT A BANANA TREE!!!
Adin Gaming xD
21:06 RIP headphone users
Wildsauce Gaming Legitimate thanks for the warning! That was intense even for Chuggaa
Granbull's return is pretty weak. Chuggaa overestimated the fact that Sharpedo has some of the worst defenses of any Pokemon in the entire game. It's actually sad that return didn't KO it since Sharpedo dies even by staring at it.
it was only 3 hearts which is barley 60-80 base power.
Not just that, but his Granbull has a *Bold* nature - lowered Attack for raised Defense. If it had a neutral nature it probably would have knocked it out, and if it had a +Atk nature it _definitely_ would have been a OHKO.
Press F to pay respects for poor Munchkin.
I had return on Entei when I played this game, I caught it first encounter, and it only reached three hearts, it may have almost got 4, but I can’t say for sure
Plus, munchkin was Knocked out a lot, which lowers friendship

-flashbacks to Whitney's Milktank- ...THIS IS FOR MY PEOPLE.
Hmph. I was hoping Chugga would beat Ston's Cradily with Explosion. When he sent out Affection, I was hopeful. Why, Chugga? Why did you not make your Walnut explode?
What is the audience chanting towards the end while Nascour is walking towards Wes? It sounds like "Kill! Kill! KILL!"
Chuggaaconroy reacts to when he caught the Tropius the same way I react whenever I find a shiny pokemon in the wild
You know, rewatching this, I think that the battle challenge in Realgam Tower totally could be an elite four challenge. After all, they are four matches one after the other, and they all specialize in a specific type (Normal, Dark, Fire, Grass).
when i was 8 playing sapphire, absol was so hard to catch that I ended up using my master ball on it
Sounded like your friends got angry with you
"Who doesn't use psychic types?"
I've played from blue to Y and have only used one psychic type- Mr. Mime- and that was in blue, before the special split.
I've used espoen, claydol, renucleous, bronzing and hypno
eldercar7 Gardevoir, Gallade, Espeon, Alolan Raichu, Claydol, and I think I used a Xatu once
What's better about absol is that he now has a mega evolution
R.I.P. Ears. They died to the screaming awesome overload that is Chuggaa.
Chuggaaconroy wanted to battle Skrub because he's a "SKRUB"! Eh, eh?
8:40 lol, and them Gen 6 came around, and emo absol became A baller
mega absol reminds me of ponies
Houndoom could use Crunch as a special move in Gen III, so I'd say it did make good use of its Dark typing. It has the same power as Dark Pulse.
Now that you mention it, yeah, I think he got one and I went "Oh, a good item".
As a defensive kind of player, I always loved Leftovers. Multiscale Lugia (with Roost or Recover and Leftovers) has to be my favorite pokemon ever.

Nazir Sledge
He mentioned Luxray so I figured I may as well say how I felt about it, y'know?
GokensLetsPlays it's much better now that it can learn wild charge. It's got pretty solid physical attack it just didn't have much to use it for.
I'm surprised that he didn't say about Munchkin munching Tropius since Tropius is a fruit pokemon.
I'm at this part now. I plan on training into the 50s, but I want to know if my team is good.
Umbreon
Skarmory
Feraligatr
Medicham
Ampharos

Yeah, pretty good.
Good defensive core and plenty of attack power. Very very solid, but you've probably already beaten the game, so who cares what I think?
I ended up replacing Medicham with Heracross, and its Megahorn turned out invaluable against Slowking. I lost the fight once and won my second try.

Nope. But he could also be a taller Ansem-Riku from Kingdom Hearts, too.

+Sean Fearnley no, miltank and tauros aren't related. They can breed, but the result will always be miltanks because miltank will always be the female parent in this situation
"Who doesn't use Psychic-types all the time?"
I don't. I hardly ever use Psychic-types because I find many other types more useful.
I don't use psychic types a lot. I'm being honest...
I actually prefer using dark types myself.
I like psychic personally. But that's my opinion. If you like dark, Good for you
I'm more of a steel guy myself
Does Fairy (Introduced in X and Y) count? Beacuse I like them a lot. Especially Sylveon.
Take a shot for every time Chuggaconroy says, “One.”
Okay, when I'm not using earphones, you warn people to watch out. When I'm using earphones, you don't warn me and give me a little bit of headache. Godmanit.
Miltank = Whitney
Does that mean she has four- never mind...
So you are calling Whitney a cow?
Volke Alamar Uh, I hope not. But she is a terrible gym leader though, like Clair. They both act like spoiled little babies, and they don’t actually care about their Pokémon at all. But, at least they aren’t Gary. ‘Smell you later!’
And don't forget Pokemon Trainer Silver. He more than likely abuses his Pokemon for failing to win battles, both physically and verbally.
I think it would have been cool if Rui was the main villain :/
Defense Curl increases the power of Rollout?
Huh...I did not know that. You learn something new every day!
For some reason, I lost it when he woke his cat. xD What strange way to earn a new subscriber..
that was an amazing transition in the end
Zangoose is my favorite pokemon out of all generations, glad someone appreciates him.
i counted the people in one section of the crowd and there is about 100 of them. there is most likely more than 10 sections, so yes. there is definitely 1000 people in realgam tower. wes is not the 1000th visitor, but still there is 1k that have entered in 1 day, which is pretty good.
I estimated about 1,122 people in the stands, not including all the people downstairs. There were definitely more than 1,000 people who came.
I think Emolga looks awesome. Sometimes "Cute" can look "Cool," depends on the approach.
But when I first played White1, Emolga was also part of my team.
Oh... I don't know much about the games, but thanks for clearing that up Envyofdeath.
glad I scrolled down, I was about to start counting the sections myself :x
When I was little playing Pokemon Emerald I'd always see Zangoose and always wanted to catch one so bad more then anything. When I grew up, I realized that you couldn't obtain it. I looked every single route 5 times for it. I wanted it so bad. It looks so cool.
who ever counts all the people in realgam tower i have respect for you
Realgam tower always reminded me of the Space Needle in Seattle. If you've ever been there, you know what I mean.
you woke up a cat?! the heck with catching a high health pokemon, THAT is an accomplishment!
"OHH! OHH! OHH!
AND I WOKE UP MY CAT!"
I laughted so hard.
Oh my... That Tropius snag was just amazing!
To those saying Tropius has a catch rate of 200: retroactively it's now more impressive to see this, because Dragonfree on the Cave of Dragonflies discovered how pokemon in colosseum and XD have modified catch rates, and Tropius has a rate of 45 in this game. So it's pretty cool that he got it
the trade mark OH MAH GAWD returns
it is arguably one of the best wall breakers in the metagame because of its dual base 150 attacking stats and access to such moves as draco meteor, outrage, extremespeed, v-create, swords dance and dragon dance, so yeah he's a beast
"Who DOESN'T use Psychic Types?"
*raises hand*
I laughed when he said he woke up his cat when he did something not that special.
I love how him was so happy to caught a Tropius, but for what his used, it was more than 300/255 using Toxic and the Great ball. He could just use the Poke ball to catch it xD
Chuggaaconroy's videos are like the CoD troll breeding ground.
As of today my main team:
Ortiz (Espeon)- Psychic, Return, Reflect, Helping Hand (will replace Return with Morning Sun), Lv49
Chara (Umbreon)- Bite, Toxic, Confuse Ray, Faint Attack (Bite will be replaced with Moonlight), Lv49
Ground Bat (Gligar; couldn't come up with a better nickname)- Earthquake, Poison Sting, Faint Attack, Slash, Lv48
Wind Waker (Suicune)- Aurora Beam, Surf, Gust, Rain Dance (Ice Beam will replace Aurora Beam once I get 4000 Poké Coupons), Lv49
Krejci (Raikou)- Spark, Quick Attack, Rain Dance, Leer (T-Bolt will eventually replace Spark and Protect will replace Leer; Crunch will replace Quick Attack once I get to Lv61), Lv49
Once I'm at a high enough level I'll be catching Gonzap's Skarmory. I know people will be mad at me for using legendaries, but a lot of Water-types in Colosseum either don't have the stats to take advantage of being a Water-type (Feraligatr), I'm going to be using another Pokémon of the same type (Mantine), or I used it in a previous run (Octillery). I also love fast Electric-types, although I may end up using Ampharos in another Colosseum run in my emulator.
knowledgeable guy in the audience:he can because he has a snag machine.
Legit I died when I had this on headphones in 2013 ..
Cipher Peon holding a homeless sign: "Will snag Pokemon for food."
Remember the good old days when we were given warnings when we were about to lose our ear drums? Those were good days. :P
Thank you, those words were very inspiring.
After this is finished, you NEED to do a video of every one-bob pokeball. xD
psychic is my favorite type.
I swear catching Pokémon in Colosseum is wayy harder than the main series games.
