Guy in red shirt texting while lane splitting on an electric unicycle then changes lanes without looking. Only matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt. Edit: Oh wait they did. This scooter is a ton of fun for sure, you'd love it if you got it. The Dualtron X2 is supposed to be coming out later this year too. Hoping to make some video on that one as well. 👽🖖
Yes and no. It’s fast as hell and the main frame and suspension are top notch - those feel like they belong on a $7k scooter, but the loose stem and handlebars kind of ruin it, since they are not firm and the main thing you “feel” during a ride. Am I going to get it? Probably. Could it be better? Definitely.
@@AlienRides Hope you enjoy it and get your monies worth. It is well beyond my means to get. I'll stick to my alibaba scooter it might not be as premium but its a hell of a scooter for the $1800 i payed.
Steven Marquez for sure, diminishing returns at the high end mean that you definitely get less bang for your buck. You can still have a ton of fun on lots of alibaba scooters. I did a video on the qiewa, and would like to do more like that.
@@AlienRides Awesome great to see how inclusive you are on different types and price ranges with scooters. It allows many different people of different financial standing to see examples of and find scooters for them to enjoy.
Nice video brother. Brother what is that noise is that coming from the stem sounds like a crinkly kind of noise. Anyway of lubing that to get rid of that noise
Brandon Smith exactly, this kind of stuff doesn’t happen all the time, but we go out there knowing that this kind of thing is one of the risks that might happen. Things happen, we move on and don’t hold grudges.
I use an action camera chest mount. There's a few different ones available, examples: - Official GoPro chest mount: amzn.to/33bgudb - Chest mount: amzn.to/33bgudb
Given the speed in the bike lanes, do you ever worry about being doored (I could imagine people underestimating how fast a scooter could go)? In NYC, even with slower/heavier bike share bikes, it has almost happened a couple times (I am aware of my surroundings and have ridden in different conditions/more nimble bikes before)
Yes, extremely scared of getting doored, has happened to many of my friends. I like to think that I'm extremely aware of what's going on, and typically slow down a bit when in the bike lane than when in the road, but I'm sure it will happen some day. Stay safe out there.
Well this scooter is closer to $6k 😅 Not cheap, but I agree the stem noise is not ideal. I think minimotorsusa is looking at ways of addressing this, by tightening everything up.
@@AlienRides The creeking is due to things not being lubed. Take all bolts of then step etc and lube it all up good and tighten all back up. Should also lube where metal touches metal. It can happen on road bikes too. Just has another watch, seems like plastic creeking.
I've seen a ton of el scooter videos now, and it's just crazy to see how comfortable people get cruising in 70 kmh with little to no protection without a slightest thought of max impact is almost a 100% certain fatal accident, if not for you then maybe for other people. Just sliding on asphalt and concret without protection in 70 kmh will skin you alive. I just bought my El scooter that im waiting to get in august, and here in Norway any electric unicycle, skateboard, hoverboard and bicycle is limited to 20 kmh, I agree it is a tad slow, but i Rather go on a el scooter 20kmh consistently for 20 miles then jogging that distance. Anyway im going to use full protection for both impact or sliding even though im just going at 20. Or else.... I do have the option to remove the speed limiter and let the air flow through my hair and risk not getting caught by the police.....#YOLO!
Manufacturer site mentions its speed is limited to 15mph due to regulations and such. Did you modify it yourself to unlock the speed or was it done for you? Just curious. Just wondering what legal hoops you have to jump through to ride it as is in this video.
For this video I actually borrowed a scooter that was unlocked, but it's very easy to unlimit, just take off the deck and detach two single grey wires. I've actually heard that soon these will be sold without the speed limiter in place.
Alien Rides Thanks for the update. I currently ride motorcycle’s, specifically a Z400 and this kinda catches my interest. But probably one of the cheaper models that can still go 40 Mph. The speed limiter is just something I’ve noticed across the board. But assume my Motorcycle License would cover a scooter capable of such speeds.
So how is the one motor drive? Strong and good? My rear motor is weaker than the one in front, when in dual mode, and lastly it does noise when works solo or in dual as well.
What scooter are you riding? Odd that the rear one is weaker, sometimes people think that because there's more weight on the rear motor, compared to the front. One motor drive is ok, but I generally recommend riding with two for even wear on them.
@@AlienRides I think what is lacking, is raw footage of top speed of these scooters and every day riding. If I search for a scooters top speed or 'speed test", it comes up with pure rubbish of people doing stupid shit. So a video like this is great.

Crazy, how many people drive electric vehicles. Very nice and lot of people out for joyrides. Where is this place? And wow those single wheelers...
Yup, this was taken during our group ride, and a bunch of people on monowheels/electric unicycles. I ride them sometime.
Shot in: San Francisco, California, USA, Earth 👽🖖
@@AlienRides Nice
Guy in red shirt texting while lane splitting on an electric unicycle then changes lanes without looking. Only matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt.
Edit: Oh wait they did.
I'm all for insane riding and being dangerous. But putting other people and drivers in danger so you can have fun is selfish and reckless.
Definitely don’t want to put others in danger, appreciate how you put an emphases on safety.
How did you mount your GoPro? I want to buy one to record my rides, but I'm not sure where to mount it. Is this a chest mount?
This one was done with a chest mount! 👽🖖
@@AlienRides Cool, thank you!
Chest mounts look so weird, but the result is excellent 😆
"You guys wanna race?"
*Takes one look at Dualtron*
"OH yeah suree" 😂
🛴💨💨
Damn, really wanna purchase this scooter. I actually consider buying it now! Thanks for the video, it’s pretty dope.
This scooter is a ton of fun for sure, you'd love it if you got it. The Dualtron X2 is supposed to be coming out later this year too. Hoping to make some video on that one as well. 👽🖖
Alien Rides Looking forward to watching a new review:)
Does it feel like nearly $7k worth of scooter?
Alien Rides *I definitely want to order one for my channel and commuting. But I don’t want to pay $500 in shipping on top of everything! Yikes!*
Nice video brother. Brother what is that noise is that coming from the stem sounds like a crinkly kind of noise. Anyway of lubing that to get rid of that noise
Yeah, I believe many dualtrons have that issue. You can kind of fix it with lithium grease. 👽🖖
6:26 hahahaha
💥 Yeah, that wasn't great lol.
JAJA 🤣🤣
Highway time? I almost passed out 😵, out of fear.. I want one ☝️
They are a ton of fun for sure, you would love one.
I'm ordering one of those scooters myself next month yay 🏁🛴👍😁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Крууууто🐲 нам бы в Москву такой парк🤪
У вас в Москве не хуже парки есть.
I liked when yyou said '' want to race''' to one , he knew you had a monster LOL
Lol, nothing more fun than dusting people. Had to try. 😁
That's why I never ride in pack. Too many crazy riders who dont obey the laws making me look stupid\dangerous because "he's one of them". -_-
suineg1 Totally agree. Bunch of scum bags.
Thks for the trip!! 😎🤘
Thanks for riding with! ⚡️💪
6:23 guy on the left wobbles and takes out guy on his right. 6:30 all is forgiven
Brandon Smith exactly, this kind of stuff doesn’t happen all the time, but we go out there knowing that this kind of thing is one of the risks that might happen. Things happen, we move on and don’t hold grudges.
They're probably both Canadian
Where do you put your GoPro? What accessory do you use to hold it in place? Thanks.
I use an action camera chest mount. There's a few different ones available, examples:
- Official GoPro chest mount: amzn.to/33bgudb
- Chest mount: amzn.to/33bgudb
City? Please
San Francisco, great place to ride!
Balls of steel.
These vehicles are too much fun to not push it occasionally!
6:22 this guy is a fool
Yeah, not the smartest move 😅
@@AlienRides what city is this? Beautiful city.
4000$ scooter and his sound crank crank . WTF ?!
Well this scooter is closer to $6k 😅 Not cheap, but I agree the stem noise is not ideal. I think minimotorsusa is looking at ways of addressing this, by tightening everything up.
@@AlienRides user silicone spray 3 in 1
. Especially on the screws ;) I had the same crank sound with the speedway 3 . Cheers bro !
@@AlienRides The creeking is due to things not being lubed. Take all bolts of then step etc and lube it all up good and tighten all back up. Should also lube where metal touches metal. It can happen on road bikes too.
Just has another watch, seems like plastic creeking.
Rion scooter are better
Wowwwwww me encanto el video se ve que esa dualtron tiene una potencia muy cool
I agree 🛴💨💨
Yolo indeed! This is really good advice. I do generally wear full motorcycle gear with these as falling them is no joke. Ride safe! 👽🖖
Nice ride..I haven’t ride that X before but I own a Yume M11…within my weight I could max out at 57mph. Kinda scary lol.
@6:24 glad everyone had one protective gear
Indeed, these rides would go a lot worse if we didn't have safety gear. 👽🖖
Christopher M yeah I think you should be more than equipped to handle a scooter. You should try one, I think you’d like it.
Not only is the scooter hauling ass down the road, but those unicycles are kicking ass too 🏁🛴🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
So how is the one motor drive? Strong and good? My rear motor is weaker than the one in front, when in dual mode, and lastly it does noise when works solo or in dual as well.
What scooter are you riding? Odd that the rear one is weaker, sometimes people think that because there's more weight on the rear motor, compared to the front. One motor drive is ok, but I generally recommend riding with two for even wear on them.
@@AlienRides well it is gpad f3 estonian branded scooter. Otherwise it is good though..
Dueltron leading the pack
Thanks. Love this. Maybe when you make an edit, just throw the full video up a few days later.
Thanks for the feeedback :) I'll def try to do a mix of both, edited and raw footage. Seems that there's high demand for this sort of thing.
@@AlienRides I think what is lacking, is raw footage of top speed of these scooters and every day riding. If I search for a scooters top speed or 'speed test", it comes up with pure rubbish of people doing stupid shit. So a video like this is great.
Hi!!!
Very nice video for very nice ride - voyage!
Thanks for sharing those views with us! It makes us travell without moving,..... it reminds Dune, isn't it?!
Forza and have nice rides.

Where is? Beautiful zone and country.

My DTX's handlebar was broken on normal road in 10.5 16:25. Please don't ride that faulty product before you change that parts. I had serious damages on my right arm and Minimotors just keep calm for their profits.
Sorry to hear about that! I’ll go ahead and reply in the comment in the review video.
Which city is it ? Love the forest part.

It's a pretty sweet ride for sure.
@@AlienRides I hope people see this video of yours on a large screen it's as if one is in front of the bike watching the scene..

We were using GPS here on the GoPro, it wasn't super accurate though. 👽🖖
@@AlienRides thanks!!

Can’t believe this video has been up for 5 years and I just now came across it! What kind of camera are you using? The footage is wonderful quality. How do you have it mounted?
Outstanding ride on video here😎👍

@@AlienRides you are welcome...do you know anything about the legitimacy of MR. SCOOTER? They are selling the dualtron x for $3500 brand new until June 30th.

@@AlienRides just got confirmation from an actual customer...ordering mine now
Pretty sick.. incredable.

Nice video mate! Where is this place?
Thanks! San Francisco, CA, USA, Earth
why are the balance wheel and skateboard more common used then the scooter?
The group changes every week, sometimes we have a lot more scooters, sometimes none. I think people just like how small
and portable the eboards/unicycles are.
Ooooo my man again
I thought electric scooters were limited to 15 mph due to DOT regulations. Is it different in San Francisco?
I believe technically they are supposed to be limited to 15mph, but some have a speed limiter wire that can be removed. Perhaps that was the case here. 😬😅
Crazy, how many people drive electric vehicles. That's called the new rush hour ;)
In the EU we are only allowed to drive 20 - 25 km/h (12 - 15 mph) - in Germany of course 20 km/h and an insurance is mandatory. But our politicians say we are pioneers in climate change...I hope their mind will change.
Thank you for this awesome video.
Thanks for stopping by this classic FPV vid. Hopefully Europe will legalize faster PEVs in the future. 👽🖖
That thing sure makes a lot of squeaks and rattles for 6k !
They should add all these electric rides to Watch Dogs 4
Как красиво!!!! Мило, прекрасно, просто прекрасно!
Thank you for stopping by! 👽🖖
dualtron x seems to be more solid and nicer than thunder? Looks like a monster
Pros and cons compared to the thunder, since it's much bigger and harder to maneuver. I do love the scooter though, it's really great. Maybe you could consider it the bigger brother to the Thunder.
@@AlienRides whats the pros and cons compared these two? I realized today just few hours ago that X is the ticket cause its more power and looks solid and for a long drive ....you own them both?
@@AlienRides I like speed and stability, the X looks more attractively , for long term use
I only have the thunder, but I want to get the X I think. I think for long range and stability the DTX is the way to go.
@@AlienRides word, looks baddass, do you insurance these vehicles?

@Alien Rides What is the name of the application that shows you speed?
In this video I'm just using the built-in GoPro GPS information. It's a nice display, but isn't always accurate.
@@AlienRides tks

Thanks for the great reviews and raw go pro vids just awsome😀😃👍 Are you able to do a review on the Seal up 500 watt rear motor brushless motor scooter.
I purchased one and tried it out last night got to max speed of 65km . Good torque and good suspension... be good to have your opinion as you have done several reviews.
Paid $950 Australian dollars.
I can’t attack a photo sorry.
Thanks for the support and stopping by! I don't know that scooter, but I'd love to try it. I'll add it to my list of scooters to try to review in the future. Cheers.
