    Awesome, just a quick question, how much weight can this stand hold ?

    • @HobbyRoom
      @HobbyRoom  5 лет назад +2

      Thank you very much. I'm using HP omen gaming laptop weighed around 2.6kg without any problem. So most of the laptop would fall under this category. Anyhow the stand could definitely hold around 4 kg.

      Hi! Good job!
      But to make it cheaper shouldn't you try plain wooden reapers? Rulers are costly!

    • @HobbyRoom
      @HobbyRoom  5 лет назад

      @@factfinder7591 Thank you very much Ravi for your suggestion. Your are right, rulers are costly, but I got 10 of them for 70 INR from the market and thus used it. Also, measuring and cutting could be greatly reduced while using rulers.
      As you said ,wooden reapers would be definitely the cheaper alternate🙂

    Good work. Wouldn't it be better if tried with plain reapers?

    • @HobbyRoom
      @HobbyRoom  5 лет назад

      Thank you very much for your suggestion🙂. Yes, definitely it would be better while considering both the cost and strength. My intention to use rulers was to reduced the measuring & cutting process and to avoid the final painting process.
      I'll definitely go for the reapers for the next time. Thank you once again

    Nice DIY 👏🏻. What's the size of screw & drill bit?

    • @HobbyRoom
      @HobbyRoom  4 года назад +1

      The screws are of 3.5 mm diameter. Length is different in different cases, depends on the thickness of corresponding section.
      Drill bit could be choosen anywhere from 2.5 mm to 3.1 mm. The hole should be smaller than the screw but not too smaller than a limit. Thats all!

    Can this be made using 3mm aluminium plate?

    • @HobbyRoom
      @HobbyRoom  5 лет назад

      Ofcourse you can. But the sharp edges should be proper grinded and smoothned so that it wont hurt us while using.

    • @HobbyRoom
      @HobbyRoom  4 года назад +1

      The wooden scale is the main thing, I bought the wooden scale from a wholesale shop and got it pretty cheap for 80 rs. Adding other components, i would say around 150 rs for the whole project.
