Ahsoka had many good influences in her life (Ploo Koon, Annikin, Obi-Wan, Padme), she was also taken to the Jedi Temple at a young age. Like many people said, she was able to let go of her attachments, including to Annikin, when she chose to leave the Jedi Order. She also had a connection with the Daughter and Morai as you mentioned.
Annakin had an active pull towards the Dark in the form of Palpatine, Ahsoka did not have this. Perhaps if Palpatine had lost Anakin in one way or another and had to seek out an alternative apprentice, turning his attention towards Ahsoka would have perhaps seen her turn.
Ahsoka is impatient, headstrong, occasionally overconfident, and quick with a snarky retort, the binary world of light and dark that is the Star Wars saga, Ahsoka is fairly unique in that she's a powerful Force user who's neither Jedi nor Sith.
Another factor playing in with what you mentioned is that Ahsoka was not with Anakin when he gave in to the dark side and for a long time most people had no idea who Darth Vader really was. This included Ahsoka who did not know Darth Vader was Anakin until she battled him in Star Wars Rebels. By this time she did know Darth Vader for what he had become and learning what the dark side had turned Anakin into would likely help Ahsoka from that time forward resist the dark side.
Tano never lost a parent right in front of her, was never a slave, never had the burden of expectation, never had a Sith whispering in her ear. What she had was Plo-Koon, Obi-Wan, and... Anakin. Having someone like her in her life made a big difference, imo. Their personalities were similar, but Skywalker and Tano's circumstances were drastically different. She actually kind of exists as a case study in what it would have taken for him to go right instead of wrong.
except she was taken from her parents and her homeworld at a very early age. On top of that, she ended up losing everyone she ever loved twice- once when she left The Order, and again, in a much more tragic and permanent sense, when Order 66 happened. In Rebels, she became close to Kanan and Ezra. Kanan ends up dying, and Ezra disappears. She was a slave (of the Jedi Order, until she leaves. There was even an episode in Clone Wars were she and Anakin go overcover as Master and Slave) and she did have the burden of expectation both of Anakin and of herself. The one difference is that she was not influenced in the Sith in any way. I think Ahsoka didn't fall to the Sith (being that she left The Order, she is technically a Fallen Jedi) because she had the strength to Let Go. She made the choice to leave, despite how much it hurt her and those she cared for. She knew the Jedi were flawed beyond repair and she could no longer be a part of it. She was willing to venture into the unknown, Alone. Anakin was not able to do that. He was too scared of losing his loved ones, and he ended up losing them anyway. Anakin was always looking for a Master, for someone to guide him. He never ceased being a slave. Ahsoka didn't NEED a Master after a certain point. she didn't NEED anyone other than the Force to tell her what to do. Yoda gave Anakin a Padawan so he would learn to let go eventually, but it was Ahsoka who let go of Anakin, while Anakin never let go of her.
I agree with what you said at the end of the video I also think the reason why ashoka is incapable of being turned to the darkside is because of the daughter
Because she has a very big heart that’s in the right place, where it doesn’t matter where your from or who you are. Ahsoka is the one who is always determined in doing the right thing and helping everyone she can because that’s who she truly is. She’s very strong with the light side of the force and she is very well balanced she knows the difference between right and wrong, and she is always capable in doing the right thing and she is one of the ones being able to do it while protecting and saving the ones she cares about the most and she is able to even show how much she cares for the ones she loves when showing love and emotion without any problems. There is definitely not an evil bone in ahsoka, she’s caring, strong, brave, helpful, supportive, confident, compassionate, hopeful, always there for everybody and always doing whats right, after Return of the Jedi there’s no doubt she went back to the Jedi path and is training and creating a new well balanced Jedi order too to help bring peace through the galaxy on one of the hidden Jedi worlds. This is what makes ahsoka loved by her fans too and it what makes ahsoka one of the upmost best characters in Star Wars that’s still alive even in the sequel trilogy too. And also after the war ahsoka has gained a family who love and respect and appreciate her in the likes of Rex, Wolfe, Gregor, r2, c3po, Chewbacca, the ghost crew, and all of her other surviving friends from clone wars and rebels who she also considers as family and are probably even with her on one of the hidden Jedi worlds helping her train and begin the new well balanced Jedi order like I mentioned earlier with ahsoka leading the way as she is the one trustworthy to do it as she acts like the way true Jedi should Ahsoka the white and the light
Ahsoka never had the expectation of being “The Chosen One” and never felt the burden of having immense power but not being able to use it. She also didn’t have a person close to her that she loved like Anakin and Padme
I kind of do like the "Anakin Wish He Could Leave" idea. I mean just to back it up. He was considered "The Chosen One" at the age of like 10. The Jedi should not of told him that cause it probably put a tremendous amount of pressure on him to fulfill his duties. In the Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith he makes it perfectly clear that the Jedi "Need" him.
Because she was selfless and respected life : during the clone war Ahsoka didn't kill anyone if she wasn't in obligation to ... When she was captured by hunters the boy fell off a tree and got impaled his father fell off the ship high deck both may be considered accidental.
These are all great points, but the simple fact remains that the most powerful sith in history was actively corrupting Anakin to the darkside for the entirety of his jedi life. Ahsoka didn't have that working against her.
~ 6:00 I was going with Plo's influence on her all the way along with all those other inspirations and the spirit of the daughter, mostly, but more the lack of influence from the dark side. Ahsoka was tempted but not centrally pulled by attachment.
Plo had a great deal of influence on Ahsoka as she grew up from when he brought her to the Order. They were more of a father daughter relationship and she strived to follow his teachings and make him proud
Ashoka had far more command of her own will and far more control of her moral compass than Anakin. Aside from Obi-wan, she had more good intent in her than most master jedi's did, including Mace Windu - who chose to ride somewhere between good and chaos. Yes, Ashoka is and perhaps always was, the embodiment of the way of the jedi order. Of course there was Obi-wan as well. She simply could never be persuaded or coaxed into joining the dark side...its my opinion but its true anyway. Ashoka was too pure and clean, her own woman, driven by her own desire to give her all and nothing short of a warrior for good always In short; she is chaos in the order of all that is good, with a mean growl and a deadly bite when angry.
Ahsoka was used by Palpatine to turn Anakin so she was a pawn, he was taking people he cared about and taking them away so he was ensuring Ahsoka would not turn instead using her to help turn Anakin
what if the visions she had of her future self telling her she cannot be with her master anymore also contributed to her leaving and not falling to the dark side.
I think it's entirely possible that Ahsoka DID fall to the dark side at some point in her story. There is a fifteen year gap between her novel and appearances in Rebels, and in that time I have no doubt that she experienced a lot, without the support of the Jedi (not that they ever really gave her proper support, just look how they treated her at the end of season 5). In her confrontation with Vader she tells him "I am no Jedi", and the emotion in her voice says to me that she hasn't just split with the order. I think she's been through some really dark times and come out the other side, her white sabers indicating that she's growing beyond the Jedi and the Sith, becoming something new.
i still feel like anakin's turn in ROTS was abrupt, YES, he would do anything to save padme from dying, but NO, he DIDN'T stand for deception and cold-blooded murder, and discovering what he learned abt palpatine, EVERYTHING we knew (or now know abt him), def leaves a huge gap in his change in alignment. his character-building in TCW, (and NOT the films), indicate that he was loyal to his comrades, no matter how he felt abt the order. he was asohka's north star, and everything she learned from him, she manifested 10-fold, so long-winded comment aside, NO, she found an internal balance, yet could resist going completely dark. I really hope the blanks will get filled in these last 8 episodes.
The Jedi order came toppling down, but before it did, Ahsoka was able to recognize that there were very few "good" and "bad" people. She saw good people in the separatists, the bad of the Jedi, and where she lay in all of that. Her moral code went beyond what side of the war she was on, and that allowed her to keep a strong sense of identity even when everything she knew was taken away from her.
The loss of anakin's mother and death of qui gon were the biggest things that led to anakin's fall and ashoka was gonna go to the darkside with maul but maul wanted to kill anakin which if he would have she might have cause she wanted revenge on vader when she thought he killed anakin
Ahsoka is coming to Mandalorian! Rosario Dawson confirmed to be playing her. Confirmed by 2 sources the site I read it on said. I could t be more excited
Maybe the fact Anakin was twice a child killer, and got away with it both times, with no punishment, made him a bit of a monster, that Ahsoka never became.
I think that Anakin wouldn't have fell to the dark side had Ahsoka not left the Jedi order. In an odd counterbalance, Ahsoka leaving the Jedi order kept her from falling from the dark side.
I dont think she ever was close to falling to the dark side, I thought maybe she would have a relationship with lux while she was a jedi or at least have 1 when she lefted
@@goodmind4940 besides these 2 times she pretty much had control, and decapitating doesnt really mean anything since windu did it 2 fett and it happens in the heat of battle, padawan lost she was telling the other one not 2 use the dark side
The whole attachment thing, it's not that Ahsoka pushes aside her feelings for responsibility. It's that she pushes them aside because she wants to see Lux happy. A difference between possessive selfish love, and compassionate selfless love.
she died and was resurrected by the daughter, how could that not be the biggest reason? She basically was Gandalf the grey and came back as Gandalf the white. with the light side literally giving he life.

In the Jedi Path, younglings could become padawans at 13. She was with Skywalker and Kenobi for a year or two, so when she left, she would've been 14-15. Although, when we first meet her, skywalker didn't think she was old enough to be a padawan, so she may be 13-14 when she left.
Part of Anakin's problem was that he let his passion for Padme get in the way. He thought with his penis instead of his brain. Ahsoka did not do that....case closed.
Trace & Raffa? HAHAHAHAHAH Dude seriously those 2 characters are completely worthless and had NOTHING to do with her not going to the Dark Side.
