Guy Fawkes was chosen by the Roman Catholic rebels cause he had already fought against the Protestant insurgents in the Netherlands I think, James I was a Protestant King and he was promoting people to higher places in government based on their religion not on merits, so Catholics were being persecuted and Guy Fawkes had to strike the match that would ignite the gunpowder and blew up the whole Palace of Buckingham with the king and all, but the plot was discovered and Fawkes was arrested, I believe he was lashed, branded with a hot iron and tortured on the rack before was supposed to be hanged by the neck and while still alive quartered and emasculated but some historians probably Catholics seem to tone down the story and say that Fawks just fell and die, probably not true, Fawkes was probably quartered alive.
Side Note: Destro, in the cartoons, was an inept bungler like all villains in cartoons of that era. In the comics he was a lot more competent (see the movie(s) done in the past 20 years - his portrayal in them is a lot closer to the original comics)
so this ones interesting. I first heard of Che because of the shirts, and I first heard of Guy because of V for Vendetta. of course, I ended up learning more about both of them later... Guy Fawkes because of the bonfires they do in Britain on the 5th of November, and Che because I saw some videos online. I specifically watched an informative video about Che because this rap battle made me curious about him. apparently he was from Argentina but travelled around because he saw these things that were happening and fought against them. like I saw these leftist tik tok compilation videos by red in space, and they mentioned Venezuela, who apparently elected a leader who wanted to do good things for Venezuela but was overthrown by the Americans who replaced him with a dictator who’d let them do what they wanted. and now, apparently, the Americans point the finger at Venezuela as an example of why communism or socialism or something doesn’t work, when really it’s the Americans who did that to Venezuela. anyway, I came into this biased towards Che, just because I found out about these issues and I guess it made me empathetic to his perspective. but idk, I think Guy Fawkes brought it, so it’s hard to call. Che had some good points though.
Venezuela is *currently* run by a leader who wanted to implement socialism the country, and things have gotten so bad that food and toilet paper are being smuggled in because he won't allow them to be imported as his people starve. He destroyed all of Venezuela's industry, which should have been able to make Venezuela the richest state in South America. You're thinking of another country, not Venezuela.
@@teamcybr8375 He did not implement socialism, or even really try to... The country's economy is still very much capitalist, with over 80% of the workforce being in the private sector, as well as 60% of the economy and 50% of the healthcare. The only thing they did was nationalizing the oil industry, so as to stop the US of doing what they do the best, stealing the resources from other countries. And well, the US of course had to be the child mad at someone trying to stop their imperialist tendencies, and respond with sanctions and embargos, which are causing the poverty. So it's not the leader not allowing for the food etc to be imported, it's the US literally forbidding other countries to export things to them...
@@Kamarovsky_KCM No, it's not "very much capitalist", the government intervenes in every aspect of the economy. Having private property means nothign when the state can expropriate you from it and intervenes in every economical aspect.
Guevara said he would have loved to use the Soviet nukes in Cuba against the core of the US, and that millions would die but it would be ok because of the purpose of it. If you feel empathetic to him then i'd advise you to be a little smarter and read the full story.
Che's bars about rehearsing and unlit fuses are a miss for me. The plot didn't end because of anything Guy did. It failed because one of the *other* conspirators confessed what they were *going* to do to his priest and the priest broke the seal of the confession to go warn the authorities. Guy was just the scapegoat for someone else's stupidity. So the bars about Guy's supposed failures just don't hit for me, and that's almost a third of Che's bars. Guy won this easy.

The trap door that we see in western movies was more of a mid 1800's thing, it didn't existed in the days of Guy Fawks, so I really don't think that fallacy that he simply fell and broke his neck.
guy was tortured before he was about to be hanged they wnated to make it drag out and be extra painfull for him so he commit suicide instead by jumping of before they could hang him
Destro is the second in command for the Kobra (G.I.Joe)
Lol cuba commander rather than kobra commander. Destro is the second in command. Gi joe bars
Guy won this for his first round alone for me.
Guevara’s first name was Ernesto before he changed it to Che, in case you wondered where that name came from 😂 Haha Pig’s Latin; ump-Che = Chump😂
No, Cuba commander "Cobra commander" Destro is a minor villian compared to cobra in GI Joe.
Cuba Commander= Cobra Commander
Destro, the subordinate. Have you never freakn' heard of G.I. Joe? The 80's cartoon or the crappy films? Dude, NOT to get the G.I. Joe reference is YOUR epic fail dude
Ernesto Guevara was indeed "lesser" than Fidel Castro... he was the Industry minister of Fidel's government.
Che well edges out for me, just so much more personal savage to guy
5:03 oh, por el amor de todo lo bueno y santo en la televisión. 🙄 HE'S TALKING ABOUT THE CARTOON SERIES, G.I. JOE! 😡
Cobra commander and his 2nd destro are g.i Joe characters
Please do a movie reaction to V for Vendetta now that you've mentioned it...
Talking about your wife taking your breath away... Cutest damn thing ever!!! We need to see her!
Yeah I am. Like you rhythm criticism need to be second round
💜💜💜💜
darth vader vs hitler 1-3 in one video?
Fawkes is calling him Ump-Che or in other words chump
You could make a reaction to v for vendetta it would be fire
Cuba commander and destro are from gi joe and kobra commander and his second in command destro/flunky as in Castro was kobra and Chea was destro
Its the GI Joe character, not the group
Side Note: Destro, in the cartoons, was an inept bungler like all villains in cartoons of that era. In the comics he was a lot more competent (see the movie(s) done in the past 20 years - his portrayal in them is a lot closer to the original comics)
Remember Che did a lot for the people
so this ones interesting.
No, it's a gi Joe reference
Cobra commander and Destro
Remember, remember…
~_~
Che's bars about rehearsing and unlit fuses are a miss for me. The plot didn't end because of anything Guy did. It failed because one of the *other* conspirators confessed what they were *going* to do to his priest and the priest broke the seal of the confession to go warn the authorities. Guy was just the scapegoat for someone else's stupidity. So the bars about Guy's supposed failures just don't hit for me, and that's almost a third of Che's bars. Guy won this easy.
