Hey mate, I buy opal parcels all the time, and I try to keep fossils separate but it's difficult. Many times I have started carving an opal and it's gone spongey inside.. I realise I've just cut into a bone way too late to save it as a specimen. Not a nice feeling! Can you post a vid in which you show fossil bones and how to spot them before they are cut into little bits?
