That's always been an issue, the people most comfortable and most confident with meeting those of the opposite sex are often the ones already in a relationship, the rest of us are nervous wrecks when meeting those of the opposite sex.

@@megurineziam5900 Gay people have very different experiences in that at some point in time, they realized they are gay and then again at some point in time they may have decided to let others know they are gay openly. The first is an epiphany about themselves, the other is a notable degree of bravery. Hence gay people are more likely to have already been emboldened so they may not need a successful relationship to be what gives them confidence. And of course in terms of meeting people of the opposite sex, gay people are already not looking for the meeting to develop into a sexual relationship.
You always hear girls talking about how all they seem to meet are married men and gay guys, that's because they are not looking for a partner in them and hence speak confidently. Another complaint is always winding up with bad guys, that's because such guys are bolder to begin with.
I do love how in love Amy is with Sheldon despite his many faults.

Thank you so much I've been looking for a comment like this for a while. This really irritates me that channels will do shit like this where they'll title it nothing to do with it at all just to get you to watch it! It's especially annoying because there's no way to know until it's already too late and they've already gotten what they fucking want from you! I guess the only way to combat this is to stop watching the channel entirely which I suppose is what I will do with this one too now! It's a real shame because comedy Central is really funny but I'm not going to put up with lies like that. If companies want to pull shit like this then they're going to have to deal with some boycotting and hopefully it becomes enough eventually that they stop their shit!
I thought that Alex was an AI assistant that Sheldon had screening his calls, until she showed up in person.
Im not gonna lie - by this episode, Penny had lied to Leonard, looked down on what he did and was in to, played him and left him dangling and used all 4 of the boys.......I was rooting for him to go off with Alex who genuinely seemed like a nice girl who was interested in him

It's understandable. And of course, Penny had privately told the girls that her relationship was boring. So she did deserve the insecurity here. But even though Alex was nice and interested in Leonard, I don't find enough there to create an exciting relationship. Alex had little personality. Penny had a big personality, which was interesting to watch.
@@Musicienne-DAB1995 I think that personality would have developed if she had been kept in the show for longer. She also would have added a great dynamic. Whilst two of the girls are scientists their character was always weird nerd lusting after Sheldon and quirky but would suddenly turn nasty. Alex would have been a female version of the gang and that would have been great seeing how they interacted and accepted her.
My main point is Penny is a complete cow. Yes Leonard did kiss another girl, but Penny was already sleeping around in front of him, knowing he liked her and getting him to pay her rent and food. When that isnt available she gets Sheldon to pay her rent and takes more money from him to buy shoes and clothes! When she gets drunk and emotional she uses Leonard for sex without considering the impact on him long term. She takes the mick out of his interests and laughs at the other girls and gang. With everything she did, she deserved to be left alone.
I kinda feel like Leonard. Penny is a selfish condescending arse but I can't seem to hate her character. Having incredible cheekbones is a terrific advantage.

Priya is the most horrible character on the show and she's not really hot, there's that scene in the shower, she looks like a little boy ...and not a very pretty one.
Aarti Mann/Priya is in eight episodes (way too much), definitely thought Margo Harshman/Alex was in more but it's only four, that surprised me, can that really be right?!
I always thought John Ross Bowie/Barry is kind of a good looking man and there's Brian Thomas Smith/Zack of course.

I think Leonard with Alex would be a better pair than Leonard and Penny. He is more confident and smooth with Alex and Alex also found Leonard quite attractive since the beginning.
Sometimes people don't need who they deserve, sometimes people don't get who they deserve, sometimes they get people who they need but don't actually deserve.
Leonard and Penny didn't deserve each other, but definitely the ones they needed. Alex couldn't tolerate Sheldon and Penny's other boyfriend were either jerks or plain dumb.
