And of course in terms of meeting people of the opposite sex, gay people are already not looking for the meeting to develop into a sexual relationship. You always hear girls talking about how all they seem to meet are married men and gay guys, that's because they are not looking for a partner in them and hence speak confidently. Im not gonna lie - by this episode, Penny had lied to Leonard, looked down on what he did and was in to, played him and left him dangling and used all 4 of the boys.......I was rooting for him to go off with Alex who genuinely seemed like a nice girl who was interested in him
It's understandable. And of course, Penny had privately told the girls that her relationship was boring. So she did deserve the insecurity here. But even though Alex was nice and interested in Leonard, I don't find enough there to create an exciting relationship. Alex had little personality. Penny had a big personality, which was interesting to watch.

Whilst two of the girls are scientists their character was always weird nerd lusting after Sheldon and quirky but would suddenly turn nasty. Alex would have been a female version of the gang and that would have been great seeing how they interacted and accepted her. My main point is Penny is a complete cow. Yes Leonard did kiss another girl, but Penny was already sleeping around in front of him, knowing he liked her and getting him to pay her rent and food. When that isnt available she gets Sheldon to pay her rent and takes more money from him to buy shoes and clothes! When she gets drunk and emotional she uses Leonard for sex without considering the impact on him long term. She takes the mick out of his interests and laughs at the other girls and gang. With everything she did, she deserved to be left alone.
I kinda feel like Leonard. Penny is a selfish condescending arse but I can't seem to hate her character. Having incredible cheekbones is a terrific advantage.

This really irritates me that channels will do shit like this where they'll title it nothing to do with it at all just to get you to watch it! It's especially annoying because there's no way to know until it's already too late and they've already gotten what they fucking want from you! I guess the only way to combat this is to stop watching the channel entirely which I suppose is what I will do with this one too now! It's a real shame because comedy Central is really funny but I'm not going to put up with lies like that. There's a scene in one episode where Leonard introduces her to Raj in the cafeteria after she says shes into the same field that Raj is, she asks if that's true and he moves to another table. She asks Leonard, "Is he okay?" and he responds curtly, "no" and continues the conversation.
I cannot watch sped up reruns... they all sound like they are main lining helium.
