@@jaz313det just curious, i got a wornout 327, maybw hits 5200 rpms before falling on its face. I think its the oldschool RV cam in it. Snappy off idle but bothing above 4800. So im trying to find a nice 350 thatll pull to 6000 rpms. I have 4.11s snd i literally barely see first. Going from a 26.5 to 28 inch tire to help that this spring. But would love 5500-6000 rpm burnouts. Plis itll make my gearing more viable revving higher. Appreciate the reply
@@PeachCoastLowrider still going strong it’s been about 2 years honestly I don’t know why I said 7 months lol but yeah I have a heavy foot and it’s my daily probably got like 3000 miles on it still going strong
Hey dude. How has this engine held up? And how is the power in the truck? I currently have a 327 in my 67 4 door impala. I badly want some more power in it lol. I'm thinking of buying this or the 383.
This motor has been amazing. It is really smooth and makes nice power. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone bigger. Nothing bad to say about this motor though.
I drove my friends bp 365 hp last night and was surprized it didnt have more get up and go? was thinking of buying one but no, so are you happy with it since its been months since this post? thanks
Nicholas Belcastro I haven’t had any issues either just a faulty carb I guess I was lucky they upgraded mine from a flat tappet to a roller cam and it made like 387 hp and 415 torque way more than listed
David Brinn I cant say a single thing bad about the motor or the experience buying it. The power is great and it runs super smooth. If I were to do it again, I would go with Blueprint. Being the speed freak that I am, i might buy the 383 or 396 small block.
Adam really good power. It runs amazing. Will burn the right tire till you lift from the skinny pedal. Posi is going in right now. This truck is always torn apart.
Just got mine this week. The dyno printout says 398hp at 5300rpm! I’m so anxious to get it in my 1972 Chevy truck. Thanks for posting this!
I got the same motor. 385hp 410tq. Runs like a champ. Put @3k miles on it no problem.
What kind of max RPM is it hitting before shifting? Im curious the difference between the steel and aluminum head 355
@@nasty3145 sorry no RPM yet. Planning on getting Autometer gauges and installing in dash. Prolly next year. But motor runs strong. Good buy.

Sounds great!!
Sounds nice! Clean install too. congrats! I see you have the Holly 600, does it smell a bit rich?
Rich smell is a tuning issue. Not a carb brand issue.
What headers are those? Im just received my Blueprint 350 yesterday. Cant wait to get it in my 72 C10. Btw you did a very nice job.
These are Doug’s Headers. 371y is the part number, I believe.
@@imwired75 Thanks much
How is it holding up for you a year later? I’m getting one in my 85 c10 so I’m wondering
Nice!!🔥
I WONDER IF THIS MOTOR WOULD PAIR WELL WITH 86 K10 AND A 700R4.
If it's built well I would say damn right it would be it's a mild motor.

mine has the same knocking noise yours has on the passeneger side. not a fan of it...
Did you have any issues with the carb? I bought the same engine last month and had to get a replacement carb because it wouldn't stop dumping fuel.
Zero issues all the way around.
