I came back on here on my account just to comment that back in 2011 or 2012 when I was a kid I literally drew this crossover just cuz it was an idea I had and I titled it something really similar actually but it was SpongeZim Invaderpants I think.
Spongebob going to space and encountering alien life is actually a very interesting story concept, maybe they could save that idea for the next Spongebob movie or special
In november 2014, they were supposed to air a new spongebob, but they didnt. If you look up thanksgiving 2014 nickelodeon, halfway through the song a guy says you get all this and a new spongebob. Later they didnt air one
But on November 25, 2018, Spacebob Invaderpants has aired on Nickelodeon, and what's dark about this episode is that a day after the episode aired, the creater of Spongebob, Stephen Hillenburg, sadly passed away.
Y’all know nick never does crossovers without it being hidden as an Easter egg right? I think an invader zim and a spongebob crossover would have been perfect for a space episode even though it has already aired. Just imagine this, all the characters will join together in space. Sandy and Zim teaming up to find new planets and plankton sneaking around with them to take over those planets Just think about this, spongebob, Patrick, and GIR. This would be the best part, all 3 of them fooling around on the moon singing and dancing and laughing! Another great character combination would be gaz and squidward, two introverts teaming up to try and face the real world and maybe become best friends. Mrs puff and... well zim’s teacher (forgot her name) have a decent conversation about how much mrs puff hates spongebob and the other teacher hates dib. I would literally burst into tears of joy if this were to actually happen, whether it’s fan fiction, a movie, TV movie, or a legit episode. It can’t be in the current movie production the two shows are in because their plots are already probably in so just restarting the whole planning would delay the movie airing and if I have to wait *ONE MORE YEAR...* Like if you think this would make a great TV movie!

yeah, i remember krab's army. it was honestly pretty bland, not really memorable. as for spacebob, it was honestly awesome! the design of the aliens was sooooo unsettling, they looked like something out of a horror cartoon or creepypasta! i remember having nightmares about them.

Ok so they either forgot to scrap it on Hungarian TV or just let it air there, but I've actually seen SpaceBob InvaderPants a few times. It was basically that Spongebob and Sandy wnt to the moon (if I remember correctly) and were testing out some of Sandy's gadgets, skateboarding and talking. I don't really remember much but this is basically the whole episode. The plot was basically: Sandy builds a rocket Spongebob finds out He makes a cake for her as a congratulation gift He gets invited They take off They arrive somewhere They get out They start talking They test out a bunch of things They skateboard in craters They talk even more It probably isn't correct, but the last time I saw it was like 5-6 years ago
that episode definitely aired. i have a brief moment of it in my head. i could not forget it even if i tried. if it didn't air then i am insane and reality is a simulation.
