Okay I hear your example of a bursting pipe😭😂😂but I don't know maybe I needed an example close to what you really doing because I'm in Accounting and loves Financial Management, do you analyze and solve problems like what? Maybe a client removing a business segment from its operations or adding one and advise on that? Or a business wanting to buy another one?

Yes we do focus on financial services cases as well. These business cases are quite prominent in consulting

Apply to the post and see whether your resume is accepted. Also chat to the recruitment team if you have access to them to find out why your resume was rejected if it was. Ensure you highlight skills that are highly in demand for consulting roles and align your resume to the job description. The people I've seen with BAs in consulting (this is my personal experience), come with job experience. I am yet to meet people who come into consulting with a BA degree straight from varsity. They usually transfer from another job.

Hi Rorisang, Im in high school (in grade 11). I have a question regarding your undergrad degree, is it possible to enroll in bcom finance even though im currently doing maths lit and business studies? My school doesnt offer economics nor accounting so the closest subject to anything related to that was business studies.
You could be asked to extend your studies by a year to just brush up on some knowledge you may need for the actual degree. At UJ there is a BCom Finance extended degree. Maybe check if other institutions have something similar
I'm in grade 11 too and try this
1 major course
2 - 5 smaller online/bridge courses
3 programs or mock projects relating to the field you want to work in
1-2 side hustles or side jobs with skills linking to your work

I think youre part of the PwC Stategy& Grad programme.
I have not been part of any grad programmes so this is inaccurate 😊
@@RorisangMabogoane hi, so i know PwC Strategy& division, they dont call it a graduate programme really but it is one as you enter as an associate straight from university. I know this because i was part of the recruitment process as well. Im also one of the big 4 but in Tech Consulting. Ill pop you a message on LinkedIn😊

Usually, yes. I’m not sure what other firms look at but my firm required an honours
