no friend the rears are 345/ 35 or 40 R18 and the fronts are 315/ 40 or 45 R18. I couldn't possibly know the sidewall height but I'm guessing the total diameter is around the stock 28.5in
@@quinnp8703 Nope I saw the tire size on the sidewall shot in a previous video. The fronts are definitely 365/35R18. I'm pretty sure the rears are 395/35R18 or 405/35R18.
@@spdcrzy I read in a website specs (were comparing the garage56 and cup car) the front are 365/35R18 and rears 385/35R18 (with 18x12.5 front and 18x13.5 rears rims)
@@Brooks22n Thanks for the caps. I stand corrected. The unique rain tires are run on the standard Nascar wheels. Their dry tires have to use LeMans specific wheels.
I think the ACO, after having banned tire warmers previous to LeMans, might have set a temperature parameter. If you recall warmers were banned on environmental grounds, so maybe their thinking after allowing them back in use is controlling the temp so less electricity is used. Either that or the gentleman is misspeaking because like you I’ve used tire warmers on road race cars and we cook those baby’s to 180F just as you do.
Explained hardly anything except that they’re slightly wider and have a custom raised label on the side. But he rambled on about how great everyone is….
Garage 56 bring over an Australian V8 Supercar they run 300mm width tyres 😮 i believe 25mm less than gt3 cars and let them run those cup car size in Dunlop of course that the tyre supplier Supercars use id like to that even last years gen 2 would do
Very cool piece of info. All the factors that played a role in making this car so fast
That was a cool interview nice to hear from Goodyear
We fans thank you for this tech report. 5:28
why no news on the unique built in tyre sensor??
Pre conditioned tires is a huge difference on your out lap time.
Good the see Goodyear on the international stage. Are they made in Akron?
This guy's too good at corporate speak and that makes one question his actual knowledge.
Fantozzi has definitely earned his stripes. He knows and has lived Goodyear racing for decades. He's my go-to guy.
How much is a set of those g5624 s ?
Can you get em in a 205/60-15???
I know the front 365/35R18 but what is the rear width tyre in mm?

Thank you for the information on the rears size
Would like to know what they're going to do for rain tires.
Use the rain tire that they have. They are probably hoping for it for development purposes
Talking about tires: it looks like rain. I’m sure they brought rain tires.
Did they bring a window for that thing?
I believe the rain tires are the official Nascar spec tire. 12 inch wide on all 4 corners.
they tested rain tires too, in a 24H definitively you want to be ready in any possibility of the weather
@@SS454LS6 WRONG , The LeMans Rain Tires are ALL DIFFERENT Than the Nascar Full Wets

I can run them!! 365/35/18 should fit on a 12” wheel. 😁😁😁
Little more than ambient? Even us lowly club racing bike guys had the tires up to 180f so the pressures and temps don't change from pit to the race.

Isso não sabia isso também existe
Could you please construct a 10 1/2 drag slick I’m gonna use your 10 inch but I hopefully it holds up with a 10 1/2 inch class
Those were 365/35R18's!!!!!!! Thats extremely wide!!!
Dude needs to look at the speaker not the camera.
