It's not easy to setup. This little shit is nightmare to setup. I hate that application called "Mi Home" it works like shit. Even in my scooter I get same connection errors. 3rd party apps work better but in this wifi extender I have to use that shit app. Why the fuck this device does not have an web ui to access from ip address. I've been trying to setup this shit for 2 hours. (I'm usign this device for years, once it setup it works as intented but sometimes it loses connection for nothing and I can not connect the device with app so I have to reset and nightmare starts!)
probably because the repeater is wifi gen 5 (aka wifi 5) but your router is wifi 5 (or even more). you should downgrade your router to wifi 4 (aka 802.11 b+g). I was wrong. The repeater is wifi 4. but it only worked when i changed my router settings to wifi5. it is weird that router as wifi 4 could not connect with the repeater

not sure if someone can help, i have set it up and it's working but the internet speed is halved. I have a 50mbps line but on the extender i only get 25mbps. Is there any fix to it?
After 1:08, "connecting device to network" failed. At here, the LED has tuned to Blue. Once the repeater LED turned to blue, it is impossible to add device to Xiaomi Apps. Which means I can't rename the SSID and password. I've checked my phone wifi still connected to the same 2.4g. I've forgeted my 5g wifi, I've also switch off "auto connect to best wifi" on my phone I've reset (using pin) multiple times and the problem is consistent However, the repeater is working where the SSID is originalssid_plus and the password is same with original wifi. It's just that I can't add the device to Xiaomi Apps to rename the SSID and password

Set the region in mainland china (Mi home app) and new wifi_plus works, but wifi extender still can not connetct to app. So at least my extender is somehow working, but it´s a peace of shit and I will never buy their product again.

When i move the extender after setup it doesn’t connect back to wifi , how do i fix that?

xiaomi home app can't ''see'' the repeater. When i m going to set up manually, at 100% it fails. why?

help, the xiaomi-repeater-v3 is not appearing, and if i reset my repeater using the small pin, the blinking doesnt change
open bluetooth, and connecti to the repeater wifi to set it up
