I'm a Microsoft certified system engineer, and when you first said "wiffy", I almost had coffee shoot out if my nose! 😂😂😂 Never heard wifi pronounced as wiffy before.
Ditto for router ("rauter") and "rooter" (as in a weed puller). Just the difference between 'Murican English and English English. Enjoy the differences! 😄
When i read your comment, i farted. You should laugh every time you speak english, that's how stupid it is! So why is the "i" from "Wifi" pronounced different then the "i" from "Windows"? What about "Milk" and "Mild"? "Fish" or "File" or "Film" or "Find"? So yeah, english is a joke.😂
Little update. I went an entire different route, but almost in the same concept. I bought an ASUS router and put it in repeater mode and getting a bandwidth of 600mbs on a 1gbs internet.
@@danielcroce9954 Yes, as you will be able to use it as a repeater and at the same time use it as an Lan output. Plus, then you have an extra router in case you need one.
Oh, I live in an RV park which provides Wi-Fi. I live towards the back of the park. The actual Internet router is at the office in the front of the park. They installed a booster in between me and the office, but it doesn’t always work. The biggest problem I have is the Roku TV. It drops the Wi-Fi a lot. My question is what product should I buy so that that Wi-Fi signal comes all the way through my RV ?
Great video! Just to check, I have drawn an Ethernet cable straight from the router in the house to the wood cabin in the garden, what would be the best device to connect directly to the Ethernet cable to amplify the signal in the cabin. Thanks!
I travel a lot and is hard for me to gaming in hmotels any if does that can help me cuase is seams like it need the lan cable wich I won't be able to do cuase of the hmotels I need help plisss
Probably good info in this video but I just couldn't stand "wiffy" so only got halfway. Is he the only person in the world who calls it wiffy?... I hope so
what do i need in my situation? i have a router but the lan ports are broken and my router is very high level i want to ad a repeater or an extender wirlessly next to it so it take the existing speed and tranfer it via ethernet to my laptop
Whiffy? Rooter? WiFi is pronounced something like WHY-FY not whiffy and router like rau·tr, even though i could learn something from this video i need i can not stand how this guy talks lol for real.

As a certified butcher I'm with you
Ok now tell me, do I need a booster, an extender or a repeater?
in the same boat, so what did you go for?

Thank god someone explained this properly here!

My "ROOTER" is not in the basement😂
I appreciate the content... but why didn't you change the pronunciation of WiFi?? It sounds so ridiculous and diminishes the quality of the video.
Sorry, I will resolve it
I couldn’t care less how he pronounces WiFi or wiffy.
The explanations seemed redundant, repetitive, but not clear or concise.
Sorry, we’ll try to make it clearer in the future.

How would this guy pronounce the word rooter and whiffy? 🤔
Now that I think of it,in the US some people pronounce the word "route", like root.
Hmm, you may be right. Look left!

It's always interesting to see how language evolves! Let's just hope everyone finds their way back to the right pronunciation.
