100% true 😉 but when i mean that its just because if i really need to fix the issue i will use a powerline that will give me more freedom. More expensive but with great results ruclips.net/user/RobertoJorge_MotionGraphics_Designer/search?query=powerline 👍
Sorry if I came across as a little facetious. 😁 It was not meant that way. You made an excellent point in your video that using a repeater adjacent to a the router will not improve the signal. Unfortunately, there are so many repeater advertisements out there feeding misinformation about how buying their little plug in mini Wi-fi device will provide some miraculous speed boost over an existing Wi-fi router! They do obviously help when used as an extender between router and receiving device, either as a way of reducing distance between stations; or getting around poorly penetrable walls as your video example here. However, it comes at the expense of halving the bandwidth since the repeater is not generally a duplex device (ie: because it transmits and receives on the same channel and these cannot occur simultaneously). However, half the bandwidth still far better than no access at all! Agree that wired options are still the best for speed, stability and reliability. Trouble is most consumers seem to want wireless everything these days, even for fixed location devices where a wired option would be minimally inconvenient to set up.
@@jerome_morrow tnx for info. I actually would love a wired connection but I can't get one in the 3rd floor where I set up my gaming system and that's killing me.
What 50% :-) It's 10-20x slower (Near 200 mbps vs 10 mbps, even when the repeater is 1m away from the router and I'm next to the repeater). Up to you to decide if it's worth it.
Just a reminder that repeaters are only ideal if you have internet speeds of 50mbps and up. It is because at best only 50% percent of original speed is met due to the fact that repeaters need to communicate to the main router
Not really. I have a dual band ac1200 repeater with WISP mode and my speed ranges 70 to 80mb, which is only about 25% loss on a 100mb I get when directly connected to the router.
Hey i have a problem. My router speed is 300mbps download and 150mbps upload and i recently bought mi wifi range xtender pro and it only goes up to 27mbps both upload and download. Even tho its next to the router the speed is always between 25-30
Signal ki pabe room thake . Bolban please..
Hi Eddie, thanks. Unfortunately Wetek stoped producing for the consumer market and are only working on digital signage with big companies. I guess that they could not stand the market competition. 👍
I was listening to reviews and working and this glorious voice came on and I just had to look! What a wonderful voice sir! You should make it work for you
dear Roberto .. hi .. tQ for the video above. u r fantastic - ur presentation is fantastic - it was very clear, the pace is very ggod, tQ again. i have subscribed to ur channel. * there 2 types of repeater in the market, the 300Mbps and the 1200Mbps type - does it make any difference.. * as per ur video, u did mention that it ONLY works on 2.4GHz environment..? i have a 5Ghz wifi environment at home, the internet provider suggested that i upgrade my home wifi using MESH .. * i thought of buying a 1200Mbps repeater as only one room in the house is having a weak signal issue. i wish u success .. from Malaysia.
Hey man. How's the latency on this. I get about 70 ms on my router directly, so how much will this one add for online gaming? If it's latency is unsuitable for gaming I'll get a second broadband connection to my remote room.

can't this guy just go to the point? most of the time, he's just spouting non-sense irrelevant information that we didn't ask. complete waste of time.
This guy talks too much. Just go
Straight to the point

My connection is 40mbps and i am getting 10-12 mbps with Tanda repeater.
Do you have a channel it's better than this guy
Bro, the music is too much and distracting. Your voice alone is charismatic, and the video is very informative. Thanks.
What about having multiple? Will multiple repeaters help with multiple barriers?
I use my old router set up as an access point. It works well. I tried repeaters but just didn't get speed
Hey John, yes that is a great use of older routers that most times are stronger than most repeaters 👍
Can I use two of them at the same time? Will they interfere with each other?
Info is short
But you just make the video bigger
Totally waste of money. Buy a full router which has repeater mode

Do you consider a window as a barrier?
I play online games with a repeater and the MS goes very high what can i do
Roberto great explanation as always.. Are the Wetek company gone?

I tried it...and it shows 2mbbps on ookla speed test
My room has no Ethernet lines and my devices are blocked by 2 walls I’m screwed
Can I connect the second xiaomi wifi extender pro to the first xiaomi wifi extender pro?

My speeds are usually 400mbps downstairs, I’m fine with 200mbps upstairs rather then 10mbps in my room😭😭
Thank you! That was indeed helpful!
waste money or not?
My brother wants to ask ... if we use a hotspot as wifi ... then I want to join this wifi hotspot, can I go 🥺
it is safe? it uses an app to set it up.

Yes
Love how u explained about repeaters 👍❤️
