UPDATE: The Department of Justice and the IACAT has suspended the implementation of the new guidelines in view of the public clamour and the move from the Philippine Senate to ask clarification on the matter.

Isn’t this too much requirements? Every Filipino citizen should have the right and freedom to travel without restrictions.

They have valid visa, meaning they satisfied the isuing country, how come hahanapan pa nila ng mga docs. esp. the AOS ?

This is good news! I just got disappointed about complaints from people who do not appreciate this.
In any given country, immigrations always has a standard rule of law. Without it, the more chaotic situations can be at border checks. The “offloading” cases was a huge issue because officers at NAIA rely on their so-called “trained” instincts. Throwing questions that are out of travelling context. But that strategy has been a big failure because certain legit travellers get erroneously offloaded. I just cant believe people complaint when there is no guiding policy to follow and point fingers at officers or even the gov’t and Now that the gov’t has come up with some set of rules to follow, they now complaint of more paper works and corruption. I just want to say, there is no easy way out in anything that needs cleanliness and control. We even get tired and exhausted cleaning our own home and space when we want to create a clean, peaceful atmosphere. Nothing is easy. As simple as that.

Parang kalukuhan to sir, a third world nation trying to squeeze it's citizens rights to enjoy their life, mayayaman lang ba talaga ang cgurado dito?

Pag ganun, pwede po ba i invoke yung bank secrecy law?

Hi. Pag student visa, dapat may acceptance letter from school/ University, proof of finances (scholarship or if sponsored by a person, Affidavit of Support), proof of accommodation - if in dorm, then letter from dorm or if sponsored: address of sponsor, name, ID (passport copy) and phone no of sponsor.
