Thank you for making this, I went and bought the NYX one in Stockholm, and I have to say, if it hadn't been for your video I never would have tried this color, but it really does look nice on me. I also got the NYX creamy round lipstick in Tea Rose to try, and it's a really pretty rose pink color, perfect for spring, and super creamy too! So yeah, thanks for helping me branch out :-)
Thank you, so glad that you found the video helpful. I thought the exact same thing before I tried it on. I thought it would be way too orangey/brown but it's actually surprisingly flattering! I really want to try more nyx stuff as everything I've tried so far has been amazing quality for the price.
I'm so glad I discovered your channel. As a fellow redhead your recommendations are welcomed. My problem is that my lips have a lot of colour naturally but lean more towards dull plum colour. Perfectly dreadful as I need a deeper colour to show up at all unless I'm going for the corpse look!
I have a lot of freckles as well and ruddy cheeks. Every time I want to try on anything remotely "pink" I'm hold it will cause my face to look even more red. Needless to say, I'm stuck wearing a lot of brick reds which are nice but a bit too much for summer.

I'm not sure how helpful I'll be, as my lips are the opposite - not much natural pigmentation at all. Also not much red in my skin, just pale as a ghost. Shows just how different ginger complexions can be!
I would suggest using a lipliner before your lipstick to help mute the plum colour of your lips. If you choose a pale nude lipliner it will help to create a base for anything you put on top and should hopefully help to prevent your natural lip colour showing through. If you have access to the brand Gosh they make my favourite lipliners, but I think they might only be available in the UK. Otherwise L'Oreal have some great options. Best of luck!
PCOH051610 I'm also a redhead/strawberry-blonde and my natural lip colour is also pretty dark. I love chanel rouge coco shine nr 80 when I go out for dinner and drinks and dior addict lipstick nr 680 "after party" for the daytime. they both look quite dark but they come pretty close to my natural dark lip colour. many nudes that are oftem swatched on youtube are not wearable for me because they are to light and it looks weird ... a tip is to just put lipstick on either your lower or upper lip in the store and compare it to the non-painted lip and see how it matches your natural lip colour ... I find that useful when I want to find a natural lipstick for everyday :)

I have a lipstick addiction too... I love them, but finding shades that actually look good with redhead skin and hair can be quite difficult. Looks good in the store but when you try it on it clashes with your hair or skin or both! Nude lipsticks usually either make me look dead or sick (but I keep hoping I'll find one that doesn't, lol). The most flattering nude I've found is nude delight by rimmel. I also find peachy tones tend to look best. As my skintone is similar to yours I'm thinking I'll have to pick up some of the ones you've mentioned. I especially loved stockholm! Thank you!
+sweetinsomniac82 Absolutely - so many lipsticks I buy I end up NEVER wearing because they look different at home than when I swatched them in store. Also have that issue with nudes - too much beige and it washes me out, too much pink at it looks farrrrr too bright. So tricky to find the perfect balance. Definitely check out the bobbi brown one, revlon one and dior one I've talked about here, they're all peachy nudes that I find extremely wearable.

being a redhead myself, i find it is so difficult to find red lipsticks that look good with my skin/hair. However, i found 5 redish lipsticks that work great. They're from Loreal. My favorite is Cinnamon Toast (839). The others are Divine Wine (762), Raisin Rapture (892), Plum Explosion (766) and Blushing Berry (590)

I actually saw the adrienne in a video with Mary Greenwell on get the gloss. She was doing an everyday makeup for redheads and used this. I would use a darker lip pencil then she used but the makeup was perfect. I went out and bought the eyeshadows , blush and lipcolor. You can dupe these I"m sure, I went a little overboard.
