from my experience: you need to replace the fader and the transistor(s). The Faders position sensor gives out unsteady values, motor driver(=transistors) overheats. if fader(s) seems to make noise (hum like) after a motorised move = replace both
add: it is important to at least clean the Faders. in my most recent case: some faders did not move in both direction, but the transistors where ok, i could not detect a short. So i opend the faders: not complicated, you can find guides here. inside them, 3 contact points in the slider where completelly covered with dust. cleaned them, now they go fine again.
hello friend all jewelry, I have a problem with the fader of my 01v96VCM the faders do not correspond according to what the table determines and neither the calibration, faders all new, when I put them to calibrate they go up very slowly it looks like this is getting to the engine alternating energy instead of continuous energy. I would like to know how yours was and what components you changed ...

Hi Tech, great video! Due to a fulltime job a time consuming hobby and a girlfriend.. Would like to ask if you by any chance live in NL and willing to fix mine? Greets Osheen
Sorry maar die problemen heb ik helaas ook met daarbij nog dat ik volgens mij die transistoren die ik ooit had allang heb weggegooid aangezien de mixer alweer een paar jaar de deur uit is
Yes I'm sorry, I promised so in the video but forgot about it. The links have been added in the description. The transistors came form ebay. Not all are available but any similar will do fine. Good luck with the repair!
Hey Tech - just bought a used one on Friday. Somebody put in new fader's (so the seller told me) and since then the machine come up with a message right after start-up saying "faders need cali- bration" . . I press OK and as far as I know the mixer (after 2 days) . . they then work as they should. But nevertheless - calibration would'nt be a bad idea, would it ? Do you know how ? Best regards Torben, Denmark
A full calibration is always a good idea and it also shows if there are other faders likely to die soon (the usually are cause of a fader calibration error). Look at the manual how to start in calibration mode: I think it was starting with the inc and dec buttons pressed but don’t remember for sure (I sold my o1v96 a few months back).
Hello Tech - what a most clear and very easy understandable demonstration. Thanks

Thank you, that is some very valuable extra information!

Hi! Where I can find the guide to open the faders ? Thanks

During calibration the faders co up very slowly: that is normal behavior. Just wait till it finishes.

Can you give details of the Chinese website and the types of transistors you used. Thanks.
