You're so right. The moment 2B calls in Operator to announce that all the other units are down and only she is left, the shock in Operator's response when 2B says she's awaiting guidance, it's just so good
It's the only recent game I can think of that makes me feel like when I first booted up Gunstar Heroes and heard "Military on the Max Power" during the first level
I remember my feelings the first time I started this game. I felt like I truly found something very special. Everyone should experience Nier Automata and Nier Replicant.
2B: I often think about the god who made this cryptic puzzle, and wondered if i will ever have the chance to kill him... Everyone who played ending E: DAMN RIGHT!!!
Love how the gane draws on the supposed ai greys and the white commander...how they are gaining souls...and some white light euphoria...weird but fun game...the humans built in the images of a supposed gid that became ill and moved into another dimension, left androids built in their image, to build bodies for them to controll...but the project fails as the Android gain souks of their own, and even the supposed ruler of the human from the shadow realm realises what they are doing is wrong...
Japanese intro is a bit different... Interesting. I guess it translates to something like this. All the existances are designed to be destroyed. We are trapped to repeat this state that doesnt even resemble life. Is this a curse? Or a punishment? I wonder, one day, will we ever get chance to pull an arrow, Against the god who gave us this unsolvable puzzle.
The first mission is the best ever first mission a played in any game. Constant shift of camera angles and genres from Shmup to 3D action, then to 2D action, back to 3D again. Too bad open world was ass. Dropped the game, but that first mission worth every penny I spent.
This game is a wild place in my mind. Never has a game blown me away so hard in the first 10 minutes but eneded up not playing much more than that. The open world aspect of the game absolutley ruined it immediatley and took away all the fun I was having and threw it into the garbage.
and true... i like the japanese section too.. but yes, one of the few exceptions when the english version also perfect and sometimes better! AND 'bout the ending song.... - weight of the word - i like better the english version. I don't say that many times... idk somehow the eng. version better suited to the game, more precisely... ummmm... much better "describes" the story and its weight.
The moment where the music picks up and your player assumes command by turning white still gives me goosebumps to this day.
Bro I can name you at least 10 times this game gave me goosebumps it’s the most amazing story I’ve ever played

its funny reading your comment out of context lmao

when u realize: the starting monologue a light, a little distorted Nietzsche/Buddhism-Hinduism thoughts lol. fucking epic and great masterpierce game
Goosebumps each time the music starts.

Nier: Automata - Come for the bullet-hell, stay for the existential dread.
The best introduction to a game. Its like playing an anime.
:)
This game is really, really good. But the music is on another level. Truly incredible.
This is where the story picks up the momentum and the journey begins here and the music encourages you to push through the sequence

When I first heard the beginning beats my mind immediately went “wait Decisive Battle theme?!”
*activating short-range attack gear*
** SHWING***
Gets me hyped every time
This opening its harder once you complete the game
I can't wait for how this is going to look in the upcoming anime.
When you realize there is a reason for the opening not having any credits whatsoever....
You mean it not being a Kojima game so the devs don't jerk themselves off every cutscene
@@haikusfrombuddha I mean he means so the Epic credit roll on Opening C is more impactful

Captain, I think-
I failed the tutorial.
Finally an intro in japanese like it should be.

This video looked like it was in fast-forward because it runs slow slow on my PC..... I had to double check

Against the god who gave us this unsolvable puzzle.
The intro bass or drum sounds like a track use in neon genesis evangelion
I think this opening sequence might a reference to an old bullet hell game called Musha
went in with the mindset of keeping my allies alive just for the game to tell me to duck off they dyin but then remind me of those deaths with a quest
What's the name of the music in this section?
cwjakesteel Alien Manifestion
Thank you very much not female Felix.

The Japanese pod voice is way cooler
They got slaughtered 😳
i just watched the anime
인상깊었던 오프닝
oh shit
i deleted the game because i thought i installed a wrong game xD
Its like 3 different types of genres in 1 game.
Is it just me, or is the start of this game very similar to musha on the Sega genesis?
Awesome game!!!
Does it fr not save at all?
You have to save manually at save points. No autosaves.
@@hickey1292 yeah I completed the game now but I spent like 40 minutes trying to complete the intro cuz I kept dying
@@MC-ns8gb same like wtf. I thought i downloaded a different game cuz its like 90s spaceships games
is that mikasa?
nah, it's definitely violet evergarden
@@sanjeevyadav5513 nah bro it's obviously enterprise

The only thing that bothers me with the game is the enemy design

This is one of the few JRPGs where English voice actually works better than the Japanese voice.
I couldn't disagree more my friend, but you do you

This isn't a JRPG, it is more like a hack and slash.
