I just want this game to wow us, and feel fresh and innovative, just like that AC Unity E3 gameplay demo (the one with Arno parkouring down Notre Dame Cathedral and air assassinating from a guillotine) did all those years ago.
Regarding the narrative side of things, i hope Naoe is a Connor Kenway- esque character in terms of characterisation, without the flaws of the writing of Connor. I hope we get the outfit from the teaser trailer, the one with the traditional beaked hood and long sleeves.
I hope we get double assassinations back in this game, but overall i like the innovations with stealth gameplay.
This game looks fire, I was reluctant at first but this looks amazing

The steath section low key gave me tenchu vibes I like
imagine they showed little parkour bc they had a "Parkour Showcase" saved up. I *highly* doubt it but tht would really temper the waters of the fanbase and overall be cool. bc its halphazard to improve combat and stealth but not the parkour which with ac1 was a major selling point and its a core identity of the series.
If you ever played Tenchuu Shadow Assassins a game Ubisoft also developed. I felt like they also implemented some of its gameplay

10:45 yea...its clear tht ubisoft was confident enough to not only show the combat and stealth but also explore the depths of both through abilities, strategy, pathways, stalking underwater, assassinations, and etc. but zero display of any parkour beyond the expressionless point A > B mentality of Origins-Valhalla. they must not have anything to show
Maybe it's just a standard for AAA games in general today, but I am very much not a fan of how Ubisoft writes the characters in their games now. It always feels like there's this conscious need to always have their characters talk at all times to ensure the player isn't bored or is paying attention. Less is more; something I miss dearly in this series.
I hope they add a fixed camera like origins or unity.
