I am a big fan of Fans toys I have so many of their figures but the last few were just ok and of all the combiners to come out these are the best at this scale no one beats the articulation with a great build I don’t see what’s wrong with the plastic they use yes some use better but it’s better than the official and parts forming makes both individual boys and combined look great not one or the other it just seems no matter what people complain well it’s your money get what you like I am getting this and then make a review once I have it in hand

Technically you don't need Silverbolt. Everyone else just connects to the shell.

@@AfoteyAnnum yeah, when you buy that toyworld Constructor and that zeta armageddon..you simply can't go back to the smaller combiners. Personally I think these guys have to be 19" to 20" to look in scale with the MP line.
@@2007suprasport already have him pre-ordered. Can't wait for it to come out. I genuinely hope that that their combiners are as good as some of their other releases (dinobots, galvatron, cyclonus to name a few of my favorites)

I imagine this might be cheaper than the Fanstoys one coming (god knows when). Other than this guy not having the mouth plate, he looks great.

Yeah, it should come with the mask head. As mine one just a test sample, not comes with the 2nd head
the Zeta toys silver bolt in alt mode looks better than the Fantoys version. note I thought the face was coming with blue eyes and the face with the face plate was coming with red eyes. i think the blue eyes would've made it pop. definitely in on this set. looking forward to having superion on the display. great job with the review and thank you for the content
Air Raid is supposed to be the left leg. Skydive is the right leg of Superion.

Man, I got their Fireflight, got Silverbolt, Air Raid, Slingshot preordered & soon to preorder Skydive, cannot wait to build this guy! One of my all time favorite combiners! I think it's funny that Zeta is shooting these out faster than FansToys is, which they're taking their time on, apparently.
On the size though, what did you say, how tall he was? 53 centermeters tall?? 🤔
yes from my ruler it is around 53cm which is similar height compare with Zeta bruticus

I definitely want to get this Zeta set of MP-Styled Aerialbots!!! Skydive is supposed to be the RIGHT LEG. Airraid is supposed to be the LEFT LEG. That is how it was in the G1 Cartoon Series. Other than that, Zeta Toys seemingly given us a solid combiner. I can really appreciate that from them. I still may want to buy the Fans Toys Superion too.

What a fiddly mess. I cannot wait to see Fantoys version. They (Zeta) did the same thing with parts forming with their Bruticus too meanwhile Unique Toys didn't have to.

Most of the torso is a suit, not Silverbolt...that's not how a combiner is supposed to work.
Silverbolt form the “back” 😆
Unfortunately, I think that's the best way to get a combiner to work. Meaning the body of the combiner is a suit. Silverbolts legs would not be able to support the weight on the 2 bots that form Superions legs. They would look too small....the thighs. Would need some strong ass ratchets on Sliverbolts legs. I've come to accept this for combiners now. Makes more sense if you really really think about it. Makes for a better looking combiner as well.

@@DynamiteTLew They could've taken the "headstand" route that CW Silverbolt uses. I mean they already took CW pegs for the shoulder joints, might as well take other things from Takara too.

I kinda hate the shell. It seems like a cop out for good engineering.
I'm disappointed that there is this whole torso piece, I was surprised that a hand and foot did not come with the first two planes from this series. Is that now a 6th item we (I) have to buy? Will the hands and feet be included with that torso? It looks cool, I mean it's really awesome, but thinking about the possible added expense and the cheat with it, I'll probably sell off my two current planes. =( Anyone have any suggestions for a great looking Superion (including 3rd party) figure that would go great with the combiner wars devastator???
The hands and feet comes with silver arrow/silver bolt.

great video! man i dont know if I can get down with that parts-forming, well it's a little out of my price range anyway. the level of parts forming is almost making it a model kit than a transformer. just my opinion!
Trevor Day this is one of the cheaper combiners each limb is like 70 bucks us after taxes and the body about 150 after taxes about 150 cheaper than this kind of set at double the size and articulation
@@umabeast100 for sure it's less expensive than others, but still out of my price range, the only giant combiners I've been able to afford other than Hasbro are the Jin Bao OS ko bruticus and devy. To each his own! Couldn't pull the trigger on the ko os combiner Wars superion that was way too basic. I'll just have to keep waiting!
Agreed... Shouldnt an MP style figure have less partsforming than a lesser scaled combiner? The habds... Feet... Head... Ok. Par for the course. But the entire torso (sure... Silverbolts there. But hes filler and essentially a Shellformer) and thigh assembly? No thanks.
aicdragon I mean parts-forming is mainly integrated in this because of stability and possibly price range. Because I doubt Fanstoys Superion will have parts-forming and who knows, theirs could be better or worse than Zetas
@@latinloki3024 Was there something in the contents of my comment that suggested Inwas confused or needed some type of explanation to their design/engineering decisions? Cuz first off... I dont care. Second, there are other MP scaled Combiners that dont need this amount of partsforming and have absolutely no stability issues. The simple fact of the matter is they went for a near G1 toon accuracy aesthetic in combined mode, but couldnt reconcile how their individual robot designs could get to that combined look. Fanstoys is going to have minimal partsforming... At least compared this partsforming/shellforming monstrocity. This amount of partsforming is a copout. Different strokes for different folks... If someone digs it. Good on them. Thats whom these are made for. But I am of the collecting ilk, that if Im going to invest money in an MP type figure, I want great engineering. Not shortcuts up the wazzu. Particularly when weve seen companies pull off more impressive engineering and still maintain both look and stability. MP=masterpiece. Not masterpartsformer.

Zeta / Toyworld series is 50-55cm height after combine. This Superion is 53cm tall! Hope this can help!

another company with the balls to charge full high end price for a non-transforming playmobil set disguised as a Transformer combiner...
At some point in trying to get people a better masterpiece combiner, the size, and weight vs aesthetics...eventually it's either a losing battle with physics or start making compromises. I absolutely LOVE the Jinbao's OS Devestator and I don't think many people would argue that it's not a great combiner. But it's not perfect...it can be droopy, unstable, there's flaps on it, stuff doesn't always stay pegged, etc. Something like what zeta is doing fixes a lot of those problems. My ZA-07 Bruticon is rock solid, tippy but easily remedied with the hip shifting, everything pegs tight and has no issue staying together...and it manages to look damn good as well. Better yet...I can man handle the thing all day in confidence. MMC did an AiO, but I think overall it suffered for it. It's also a simple cost effective solution that fixes a lot of problems. In the context of what XTB is doing now charing $200+ for a parts forming trailer...I bet this doesn't seem so bad now lol.

Other than that it looks exceptional.
In the Mass production version it got 2 heads, one have mask, another one with face (in the video) mine one is a Test sample!!

Very stable for a combiner...need to save money for this so i can put beside on my bruticus and devastator...& for some people complaining about the partsforming, just dont buy it if you dont like it...problem solved..😅

Great video and a good looking bot, but sadly not for me. I want my combiners to actually combine with each other, not to a display case for 4 bots and a storage slot for 1. None of the actual bot even connects with another bot. Still looks good so I am sure some will be over the moon with it

Zb 1-5 Superion is better than the old one
at least 10 commercials during a 23 minute video is beyond annoying. The figure set looks cheap and the way they hide the core is a very big cheat and unworthy of peoples money. I'm sure some will buy this, but I guess I will have to keep waiting for a better version to come out. At least the original G1 didn't look so crappy, even with 30 year old tech they had to work with.
Better to buy this. Cheap and looks fantastic or you can wait on Fanstoys and spend around $450-550 on their combiner and who knows how that will go. But it’s your money spend how you please
That original G1 Superion had 3 points of articulation; head swivel, shoulder swivel. Wow. 7, if you counted the peg-on hand & feet, but that would be a cheat too. Hey, the cartoon really cheated.
@@cadsux Original G1 Superion didn't have a head swivel - the head slotted over the cube that was Silverbolt's head. The arms could rotate and the hips could bend forward (if you remove one of the add-on pieces) but they couldn't hold any weight (like the leg). So it was effectively 2 points of articulation, or 4 if you want to be exceedingly generous.

yeah.. as the complexities of the role in the combiner team, predaking and bruticus.... all their teammates are different. And superion just all 5 plane only.....
But when I get older... I like the unique type of teammates... so I like all of them !! wah ha ha
Crazy amount of partsforming, even much more than the original 80 toy, the whole combiner torso is a separate piece and Silverbolt is totally hidden inside it, so cheap. This might be a nice looking Superion but this is a total cheat, i don't like it at all.

All combiners are parts forming. You must not of seen the rest of the line. They are the most stable combiners and the best looking. Your going to probably have to stick with the older combiners that are not nearly as stable because all of them are heading towards this direction with parts forming

I can get behind partsforming when it supplements the combined mode, like Constructor. For this, the partsforming is the combined mode. Silverbolt contributes nothing essential to the combined mode. The arms don't even attach to him. Why even have him?

Its toyworld/zeta= cheap plastic and a hollowed body
um.... I collect 90%(in the market eg TFC, UT, FT, Zeta, Toyworld, badcube, KFC/Xtransbot, Magic Square, DX9, G-Creation, DNA, MMC/OX) third parties transformers toys in my collection. I can say Toyworld / Zeta’s plastic quality is not that bad, they are in the “above average” level....
I’m sure their plastic quality is much much better then the KO factory ....
