FILM DESCRIPTION:
Superlative stoners Cheech (Cheech Marin) and Chong (Tommy Chong) realize that one of their pals is developing a strain of pot that slowly morphs smokers into reptiles. They begin hawking the one-of-a-kind grass while disguised as ice-cream sellers, but the police, led by Sgt. Stedanko (Stacy Keach), are rather suspicious of the operation. When Stedanko manages to sneak some "ice cream" from the boys and promptly sprouts a forked tongue, Cheech and Chong must go on the lam.

Wait, I must correct myself... it was the heroin addict that was in the robe, and he kept falling asleep and burning himself with his cigarette, and that's what the old White man was laughing at... And Michael Winslow said, "it's ok to smoke in here"... And he said to the imaginary crack-baby, "aww... shut up!", Meanwhile, some other funny stuff was going on the background... I gotta smoke some weed and watch that movie again, lol
@@alexludavertigo6926 it always cracked me up how they weren't sure how they knew Donna; they just knew that she was "Donna" and that she was rad; they never tried to get busy with her, and she was like their guardian angel.. and, she herself wasn't quite sure how she knew them either (she only ever called them "you guys!"), but she always showed up when they needed her the most, and she never asked why... Her job for the "Mexican Travel Agency", lol, that scene in "Things are tough all over", that was was pure genius....

I actually was standing about 50 feet from Timothy Leary once. He was standing on the side of the stage at a Grateful Dead Show I had attended on May 6, 1990 at the San Dominquez Soccer Field in So Cal. I also spotted Jack Nicolson.

We will always love Dr. Timothy Leary, and his message, at least any of us who were young in the 60s
Dr. Leary was an irresponsible idiot who had a very cavalier attitude about a very powerful substance. If you read "LSD: My Problem Child", written by Dr. Albert Hoffman; the guy who discovered LSD; he said that he found Leary to be very sloppy and irresponsible about dispensing that drug to people. Hoffman said that he didn't like the idea of LSD being taken by the very young, or people who weren't "all there" upstairs.
Leary was a genius, still is.
