Great show. Title-wise, I personally describe Lloyd in Space to include a Welsh sounding name.
Also as well, introducing Zoit, an androgynous, or non-binary character certainly proved that it was ahead of its time. Practically predicted the future.

Ughh finally! More Lloyd in space content! It would be 3pm I'd get home from middle school and these reruns were on while I made myself an after school snack of peanut butter and banana sandwich with an apple 🤤 I still feel these memories associated with this show. And this show was just so good, your video really does it justice

For a first video essay video, this is really good 👍, you clearly have a good grasp on how to make videos already and explained what you talked about very well. I’ve never watched Lloyed in Space but I might after watching this, just wanted to say how great of a first video essay this is and can’t wait to see more!

I did rewatch a lot of my favorite video essays and the ones mentioned in the video to get the right feel during the editing process. I learned a lot and I’m excited to apply that to the next video

Great job on this! Never really watched much of this a kid, cuz I wasn't a fan of the bratty psychic sister character lol. But its a pleasant surprise to learn more abt it & its heartwarming messages that hit home even today. I also love nice, chill videos like this that I can watch & listen to while I draw. Hope you have a fun time making more in the future. Also your cat character is adorable💙

Yeah Francine is definitely a character that can make or break with people. While I can tolerate her for most part, although the Halloween episode did sour my opinion on her. But really the main issue with her character is that she is written rather inconsistent. Like you said in the video, some episodes she’ll act like a little gremlin out to antagonize her brother with no motive and other times she wants her brothers affection.
you know a person commented to me that he was kind of mixed on whether this show could be serious or not that while he enjoyed the simple stories he could see these characters building up to a bigger storyline what do you think sorry im a year late
