I think a good spot for people just starting out or restarting life to find affordable home stuff is surprisingly an Amazon bin store on restock day. I have one near my house and on restock $12 day you can get rugs, lamps, dishwear sets, pot & pan sets, blankets , sheet sets and curtains. I go evert week and have also gotten bags to store clothing in and mailing envelopes for shipping merchandise in.
