Breathtakingly beautiful Ginzan Onsen !!! I've been there with my family during late '90s . Watching this video reminds me of the wonderful memories I had experienced in the Japanese onsen (Rotenburo) Glad to see the Ginzan Onsen Village again through this beautiful video . What a spectacular scenery during snow day. Really enjoyed watching.

Yep that’s accurate. IC card you will end up paying full price for any JR lines you take. The IC card only makes it easier to have one pass and take railways, subways, metro, and buses without having to use multiple tickets.

JR pass will cover almost all JR trains (including Shinkansen). Not sure about IC card, I’ve never used it. Local JR trains are covered by JR pass.
