Bro complained that Rey vs Kylo felt like two kids just trying to hit each others lightsaber the hardest but then praises Luke vs Vader when Luke just starts swinging and put force into his swings?
The way the Finn/Rey vs Kylo fight should’ve gone was like this. Rey attempts to fight Kylo off to save Finn. She tries to use the Lightsaber like her staff, since she has much better experience with a staff then a sword. She fails, obviously; and get thrown into the tree, prompting Finn to take the Lightsaber and fight off Kylo Ren. Since Finn is an actually trained fighter, he would be able to stand up against Kylo for a good while, much longer then he did in the actual movie. Eventually Finn would lose the same way he did in the Force Awakens, though he would still get a slice at Kylo’s face. Chewy would save the two in the Falcon and Kylo would escape after having a barrage of lasers shots at him from the Falcon.
Here me out here, the Obi vs Vader fight in Episode 4 might not have been flashy, but it was technically sound. The two of them are trading blows back and forth like classical fencing, testing each other to see if either person has any obvious weakness... and Obi-Wan is using himself as a distraction in order to allow Luke and Co. a chance to escape. But I can understand why you put the fight itself so low on the list.

The Obi Wan v Anakin fight in ROTS is incredibly overrated, imo. Aside from the music which is fantastic the fight is one of the most obviously choreographed and contains some ridiculous individual moments which people have highlighted in other videos. Also the dialogue is clunky - "From my point of view the Jedi are evil!" is truly godawful. Contrast to the fight between Luke v Vader in ROTJ which is less flashy but contains more emotion and passion than the former does.
Yeah, Rey is like a god she is not trained never by anybody. It’s so sad to see all the new movies of Star Wars how dumb they are and stupid and I remember watching when Luke was trained by Obi-Wan Rey had no trainer.
@williamstormo2922 No, they're not. They're the best choreographed fights in the franchise. People only think they're bad because A) the prequels gave them awful standards for what lightsaber fights should be, and B) some losers tried to look for every minute flaw that no one in 10 million years would have ever noticed, presented it with a holier than thou, matter of fact attitude and other people latched onto it.
@@hoztoventertainment5297best choreographed my ass, you're delusional. The TFA final fight was fine, the TLJ throne room fight had disappearing daggers and guards hitting the air, the ROS Kylo Rey fight had them trying to kill each other's lightsabers instead of each other. Same problem, but even worse with Knights of Ren. These are not """minute""" flaws. If you wouldn't have ever noticed it, that says a lot about you. A high school baseball player could beat Kylo Ren in a fight without the force with how shit he is.
I always find it comical when people trash the Force Awakens duel "oh Reys had no training and Kylo has, which means shes a mary sue"....ahem.. .Kylo lost because he had a Bowcaster wound in his side and was shown to be bleeding out! He was toying with Finn and once he got a hit in Kylo easily dispatched him. He was also toying with Rey but once she got the connection to the force she easily overpowered him in his current state. Plus kylo mentally was not focused as he had just killed his father. Oh and also the Empire and Jedi duels are wayyyyyy better than the end duel of Clones, you kidding me?
Way was How was Kylo mentally affected by killing his father? He was relieved when he killed Han because he could put the past behind him. The part about Rey: She literally used the Force to grab the lightsaber before Kylo could. Even Luke had to be trained to do stuff like that. He didn't start out with those Force abilities. Luke was Vader's son. So, I'd be willing to say that Luke was strong with the Force. But Rey, could do all this stuff WITHOUT formal training?
Snoke tells us::"And look at you. The deed split your spirit to the bone. You were unbalanced, bested by a girl who had never held a lightsaber! YOU FAILED!!! " Rey also mentions it in Rise of skywalker. Plus its obvious as hes trying to be a bad guy but is always conflicted. Reys training was her survival on Jakku, she mastered many abilities and skills so using the force came easier to her @@firestream93
Yoda lightsaber fights suck, he looks like a pin ball bouncing around it looks ridiculous I think it would have been better if they made him more of a wise old mage instead of a duellist.
people hate when the sequel characters r too strong but complain when their fights suck…it makes sense for the time period. Rey and Kylo Ren have less training with a lightsaber as opposed to Anakin, that’s why their fights require them using their force abilities and surroundings to get the upper hand compared to just using their lightsabers for everything. Anakin and Obi-wan were incredibly skilled and were able to rely on their lightsabers.
Actually I have some information that explains how Rey knew to wheild a lightsaber. According to the novel she used her fighting style that she learned on her home planet when using the lightsaber. Behind Star Wars did a video on the forest fight and I think you should chdck it out when you can. It has some interesting information.

@VinVonVoom 1. I don't like the idea of Yoda with a lightsaber. 2. The fights themselves fail at emotion (like an empire or jedi Luke v vader) and fail from a choreography level for me (Phantom Menace 3 person fight). 3. For the anakin, obi wan, Yoda fight it's paced horribly as you go from 1 boring phase to the next with nothing intresting happening with the exception of a hand getting cut off I guess that part was a little intresting but otherwise no. 4. Did I mention I don't like watching cgi Yoda flip around like he is on cocaine or something? 5. The Palpatine one is actually about 30 seconds abd is just interrupting a more intresting, dynamic and emotional fight that's way more intresting. 6. To combat the negatives I have very few positives like I mentioned a hand getting cut off being slightly intresting and I guess I like how dooku gets away in the first one by forcing Yoda to save the other 2 and I guess the music in the Palpatine one is fantastic some of the best in the movie but these positives are few and far between for me personally and these positives and similar positives are in other fights I just find more intresting.
In my opinion, the choreography, music and execution of the duel of the fates is better than Anakin v Obi-Wan. Sure it’s longer and more meaningful to the plot, but the choreography is more goofy than the fight with maul. It comes in second for me.

Yeah, Rey is like a god she is not trained never by anybody. It’s so sad to see all the new movies of Star Wars how dumb they are and stupid and I remember watching when Luke was trained by Obi-Wan Rey had no trainer.
The fight between Vader and Reva
I don't understand how anyone could possibly ever dislike the sequel fights
Just cause
@@BigDaddyStarWars Great answer, Einstein
Cause they are badly choreographed
Maul vs Ahsoka not making the list is criminal
I’m pretty sure he’s only including the live action ones
Rey also mentions it in Rise of skywalker. Plus its obvious as hes trying to be a bad guy but is always conflicted. Reys training was her survival on Jakku, she mastered many abilities and skills so using the force came easier to her
@@firestream93
Kylo was Not relieved after he had killed his father! Watch the movies again!
@@officermurdoch4120 By all means. Tell me what happened.
Eww stupid Disney Starwars fan
Ahsoka vs baylen???
Quick update:
1. Ahsoka vs. Morgan (Ahsoka ep 8)
no way, i swear to god that there was literally no lightsaber duel that came anywhere close to being as good as obi wan vs ankyin
i just have never understood how Rey is both a mary sue AND sloppy with a lightsaber, like, do you want her to be good at being a jedi or not?
Lil bro has not seen ahsoka😭
I made this pre Ashoka 😭
@@BigDaddyStarWars oooooo I gotchu😂
Awesome.
This was the perfect list.
It was on mustafar not geonosis
Duel of the fates and luke vs vader were better than obi wan vs anakin
Yoda lightsaber fights suck, he looks like a pin ball bouncing around it looks ridiculous I think it would have been better if they made him more of a wise old mage instead of a duellist.
You trippin, the obi wan show was good lol
You missed out Anakin and Ashoka
It hadn’t come out yet
people hate when the sequel characters r too strong but complain when their fights suck…it makes sense for the time period.
Yet kylo trained with luke and snoke. Rey didnt train whatsoever so that would make sense. But not a good excuse for kylo ren
@@edocsil1635 kylo was injured, he was shot
@@SC4R3 yeah but even then he's fighting against untrained ppl. Finn has no defense against the force so he couldve just force pushed/choked him lol.
@@edocsil1635 didn't really see much of using force during fights so....
@@edocsil1635 yea that’s true…he was shot by chewies bow caster but i agree with you on that
Love when characters do the fastest spin they could ever do cus prequels are so bad
Actually I have some information that explains how Rey knew to wheild a lightsaber. According to the novel she used her fighting style that she learned on her home planet when using the lightsaber. Behind Star Wars did a video on the forest fight and I think you should chdck it out when you can. It has some interesting information.

Why in the world are those two at the bottom?
@VinVonVoom
Sorry, but this video could be watched only muted.......I am not able to listen you :D :D :D.......
I only disagree one time nearly flawless list
In my opinion, the choreography, music and execution of the duel of the fates is better than Anakin v Obi-Wan. Sure it’s longer and more meaningful to the plot, but the choreography is more goofy than the fight with maul. It comes in second for me.
Why are the sequels so slow and boring 😩?
Some people don’t get it. Stick to your old movies and leave those alone who like/love the sequels.
you dont even know anything about the sequels and yet you hate on it
You don't NEED to know much about the sequels to hate them.
