I hope your utilities are restored soon. This might help cool you in that Texas heat.We bought small personnel fans at Dollar Tree that work great. Size like a thick cell phone, long cord to wear on neck or shoulder. The fan can stand on a table too.
Dollar general has kids pools. You could get pools for family and pets. Take care.
I just went to our $general and found essential oils on the dollar aisle! Lavender and peppermint.
Our DT the had huge containers of all purpose cleaner wipes for $1. Each container has 160 wipes. Thank you for sharing.😊
That enchilada sauce is $1.98 at our Walmart. Sometimes I can find it 2/$3.00 at the grocery store. $1.25 is definitely a great deal. I'll have to look for it.
We have never gotten the1st aid kit. Have you ever shopped at family dollar they have dollar, 1.25 and up . They have seasonings for a $1 & they have only natural ingredients
If you unwrap your soap and spaced it out, it will dry out and will last a whole lot longer because it will make the water suds really good. Of course you can put the good smelling with some monger clothes and that does the same thing it doesn’t stain unless it’s got a real strong smell. But I’ve never had any problem with it. I like to put Yardley soap in my underwear/sock drawer.
I look for those wounds care kits and I never see them at our dollar tree
I buy Epsom salt in 8lb bags . I also buy baking soda in 8lb bags .I vacuum seal them in pint jars or 1lb mylar bags. You got a good haul for real.
Buy Desitin or the generic equivalent for your first aid kit. It's made with zinc oxide. You'll find zinc oxide in antibacterial ointments. The Desitin is MUCH cheaper than those tiny tubes of antibacterial ointment.
I didn't know I could could clean cast iron with salt. 🤔 I do my best shopping waiting in line😂

Absolutely right, and if they are a real member of the family you have to prepare for them a must. Are you will be feeding them your food and supplies. While dollar general is having their mark down sales. I grabbed 6 of the 50x60 blankets for my pets. We use 2 different thickness 1 heavy for winter are usually 8 dollars now 4 dollars. The thinner one regular 5 dollars now 2.50. And they are also a great ideal of 6 of them you sew together by hand with a big X stich and have a little weight blankets for the just a little comfort for kids or yourself. Large enough but cheap enough for a comfort item. 6 lite weight $15 dollars and your tax if you have tax in your state. And it's washable and can dry quickly on the clothes line. I have made several over the years finding them on markdown and they are great for early spring and fall camping trips.
I found that I needed more zip tides wen I did my little garden to tide fencing

Believe it or not I’ve had several soaps, esp Ivory that went bad. They had some type of mold on them.
I stored them on the bottom shelf of an unfinished basement but nothing else was affected.
So now I’m going to vacuum seal them to see if it makes a difference.
Hi Jinne! Glad to see you are doing well and still hauling! Love it! 😊 Just wondering if you have ever seen the compact towels that are expanded with water. I found a package of six today in Family Dollar for $1.50. I thought they would be neat to take just in case, camping, or a bug out bag.
Cool, good list. Recently the news announced that Dollar Tree was going to close 500+ stores across the nation, in the next few years as each store's lease expired. So it was very surprising when a new Dollar Tree opened around the corner from us - as a Dollar General opened a few months ago. It's a super large store where a CVS closed over a year ago. I hope they stick around but even if they are only open for a short term, it makes it easier to pick up deals without having to drive 5 miles to the other Dollar Tree - we now have 3 within 10-12 mins of us!
Great haul Jinne! Hope to visit Dollar Tree & Dollar General this week. That denture brush will definitely help keep the track clean on our shower. My main focus this year is organization of all those supplies we've accumulated for pantry, first aid, pet, livestock & hurricane prep. Our 1000 Sq ft house overfloweth with stuff.
Don't know about anywhere else, but all the fruits, berries, vegetables & flowers here seem to be really putting out a bumper crop!

That brand of aloe Vera gel with lidocaine is excellent…..I had a lower jaw/chin injury last summer….an as a last resort I tried it to relieve the pain….strange as it sounds, it’s very helpful….😊
You are so funny and your Dollar Tree has good stuff. Bandaids, liquid hand soap and candles shelves were empty this week at our store. I did buy 6 of the solar light stakes that we won't use until an emergency. .

You got a great assortment! Our stores never seem to have the wound care kits, but I always look. We are on a well with extremely hard water, and I’ve heard denture tablets work wonders in toilet bowls…I can never find them either! By the way, you look very pretty today, I’d say pink is a great color for you!❤️🇺🇸
Be careful if your toilet back is already rusted I used those tablets and plugged up the holes the water flows thru.Had to buy a new toilet
@@jeanjackson1113 thank you, but that shouldn’t be an issue. We are restoring a 164 year old house and all the plumbing fixtures are new within the last year or two, it’s just the mineral deposits in the bowls that I’m concerned with.

I have never found DT duct tape to be worth the 5 bits either in amount or holding capacity. Maybe there are different grades but I’ve tried all the ones in my area. I’d rather spend the $8 at Ace and get the real thing. It pays for itself in ability and quantity… usually fixing something (again) already taped with $8 worth of DT tape.

I love those plastic tubs..BUT I use them for my fabrics. That way I can see what's inside them. I fill them by color. I use the smaller one for salad dressing & gravy pkgs.

I use my Dymo label maker to make labels for the chalkboard stickers so if I need to change something I can just peel the label off and put another one

I also found stores that sell expired foods. Just like eating expired cans of food past the best-by date on your shelf, they sell it. It's not stuff I would buy for long-term storage, but I did some to test it out. A couple of types of curry and some canned goods. But it's a no-go for items like chips, chocolate, etc. I stocked up at dollar tree and think people should while they can.

Those black labels, I get mine from Temu, a roll of 120 labels for under £1/$1. They're a nice big size for jars, don't wash off, but still peel off nicely with no sticky residue if you want to use the jar for something else. I even use them for putting the dates on cans/packets, by cutting them in half. I can see the dates easier with the black label and white pen, rather than dates with a sharpie, and for that price, why not!

Greal haul Jinne! I love when preppers mention pets. I'm always freeze drying/bulk buying food for the whole family which would include my 3 dogs and 19 chickens. lol Yesterday I bought pack of canned dog food for a just in case scenario, on occasion I'll be driving and notice a homeless person with a dog. (I need to get more) It breaks my heart thinking he/she is hungry and/or thirsty. I have paper bags with handles on them that I would like to give out to the homeless canned food, water, toothbrushes etc... I understand that some people are just lazy but there are lots of people that have lost their homes due to this horrific economy and could use a little help.
You should definitely do that. God is calling you to do it. You can also include a hand written note that says, "I see you and I care about you. God bless you."
My mother in law always told me to store soap opened so the air can get to it. It will last longer.
I keep the Aloe gel with and without lidocaine in my fridge (on the door) for when this redhead gets burned at the lake!
Green bar soap removes blood from clothes if you scrub under cold water.

Hi Jinne, this is a great haul! I like the variety of items that you were able to find. I just learned that able 5 miles from us a Dollar General will be going up. Clear out here in the sticks! I'm not confident that it'll last because there isn't a huge population around.
I had to add one more comment. We're forcasted to hit triple digits in a few days 😳
We've been building a new raised bed garden area. It's under trees and gets a combination of full sun to dapple shade.

Great haul! I'm still waiting for my DT to get those lighters. They have the regular ones, but none like yours. I agree with you that those wound care kits are a great bargain. I saw one at Walgreens simiar, but had a few more items, for over $25!

I just bought one of those strainers, a few days ago. Walmart. My dogs love the bacon Carry Out treats.
If you belong to Sam's club you can get Epsom salts for 71 cents a pound. 10 lb bag.
For some reason I find that with those slider bags, the slider thing stops working. I like the regular ziplocs better, but maybe if you don't get into them over and over it wouldn't be an issue

The sandpaper on the match boxes tends to wear out before the matches are gone. Thought about gluing a strip on the side of the box. What grit would you recommend?
